UV,
Why do you have such a hateful attitude? You come here saying basically that all conservatives are greedy, redneck, racists. You mock the Bible and stereotype all of us as being backwater, neo-con, war-mongering, oil-guzzling homophobes. In short, your stereotypical descriptions of us are as blatantly prejudice as the same views which you mistakenly suggest we have.
Maybe you need to take a look at yourself. You hate rich people for no other reason than they are more successful than you. You toss around the phrases "rich people" and "Christianity" with the same blind hatred of a 1960 lynch mob hollering "nig9er". Whether its the size of the bank account, religion, or the color of the skin, hatred is hatred, and you're full of it. You are nothing but a leftist version of the same fringe element on the right you so despise.

I doubt you are going to get an answer to or from Vinny that will suffice. Vinny is a true blue Liberal. He firmly believes in his cause and considers that anyone who thinks different is unworthy and not to bright. Vinny considers that lying is alright as an end to a means. Repeat the lie over and over until some one believes it. Along the way he begins to believe it himself. Being vindictive goes with being frustrated that he and his fellow Liberals were unable to open /i] our (conservatives) eyes. He can not believe his man lost. It flows from there. Extreme frustration leads to extreme rage. I think your question was rhetorical.

I think Vinny has just taken a position and refuses to back off from stubborness. No body can take all the hits he has and still be a believer. Either that or he's a moron which may be a possibility the more I think about it

Ohhh, looky, my name up in lights! What a warm glow I feel from this group. Thanks! Answer is that I weep. (Not hatred at all.) I cry for the greatness that was once America. I thought by posting some sarcastic remarks it just MIGHT get through to show the massive HYPOCRICY of the right wingers. I am SO sorry for this country, that supposedly educated people, religious people would be so deceived by the current administration into thinking his policies are in any way moral or Christian. Isn't it clear from the quotes in my "Biblical" post how FAR we have strayed from any genuine moral values?

"I cry for the greatness that once was America."
Could you be any more vague?
Explain that for me please.

You'll never know how this pains me, but I tend to agree with UV. America has "gone off the rails". But it's been off the rails for a generation, not just since the recent election. America's downward spiral started during the 60s with the protests and the free love and the drug experimentation. It's continued with the attitude that no one has to take responsibility for their own actions. Everyone's a victim. There's an excuse for everything. No discipline in our schools. No respect for anyone. One of the reasons there's so much division in our country is that no one is just an American anymore. Everyone's divided into a hyphenated ethnic group. Everyone else's culture and religious beliefs are respected except Christianity. We're just a bunch of "right-wing nuts". Believe it or not, I was actually thinking on election night, "Oh well, if Kerry wins, at least the left won't have anyone else to blame when there's another terrorist attack, and at least we won't have to listen to their constant whining for the next four years." What liberals don't understand is that this country has survived some turbulent times. We've survived the Kennedy and King assassinations, we've survived the Nixon years, the Johnson years, the Carter years. The sun will continue to rise in the east and set in the west. Get a grip.

Thanks Skeeter - it takes a lot of courage to think independently. America has gone off the rails . . . 1. We used to be tolerant of other views, other religions. Now we want to ban Islam, stifle dissent, force morality onto people. 2. We used to have a cooperative alliance with our friends in Europe and Asia. Now 75% of European nations hate us. They are particularly opposed to the war in Iraq. Instead of mending fences, this (p)resident arrogantly forges ahead alone against his perceived enemies. If he just bent a little we'd have MUCH more cooperation with other nations in fighting terrorism. 3. We used to have fair (if overburdening) taxation, where wealthy people paid a higher percentage of taxes Now the middle class pays the most, big corporations get our tax money, and much of it is wasted on bush's pet projects, such as farm subsidies, tobacco farms, war in Iraq. 4. We used to have checks and balances, based on the wisdom of the constitution. Now bush labels the decisions that go against him as "activist judges" and wants to appoint narrow-minded partisan judges to the bench. His new cabinet is now totally free of dissenting opinions, which news reporters blame on his "lack of tolerance for disagreement." Now with Tom DeLay's Gerrymandering in Texas, the opposition doesn't have a chance of creating any balance. He wants to do the same to the entire nation. 5. Bush is arrogant and hard-headed. He wants to dump the nuclear treaties that took a generation to hammer out, so he can build bunker-buster nuclear weapons. He wants to turn back environmentalism, so the big corporations will have greater profits. Sad, sad, sad. It has nothing to do with me hating anyone. Just sad for the sorry state of the country. LMFAO I'm just glad to see that there is a website showcasing spineless, left-wing lap dogs who are more concerned with the ideas of the Germans and the French then they are with those of 60,000,000 of their fellow Americans. Cheers!

I'll try to respond to each of Vinny's points.
1. It would be completely irresponsible for us to abandon our nuclear weapons program, or any weapons program for that matter. If we totally dismantled our entire military tomorrow, do you honestly think the Islamic radicals would do the same? I doubt it. The person who drops his gun first is the one who gets killed. They don't hate our weapons, they hate US!
2. Contrary to your beliefs, we are tolerant of other people's religions. We aren't the ones killing innocent people in the name of our God. We've never killed a Muslim just because he's a Muslim. Last time I checked, they were the ones waging the holy war. If it had been Christian terrorists who had flown those planes into the WTC, we'd kill them, too.
3. As for our "cooperative alliance" with Europe, I'll assume you're talking about France and Germany, two of the countries that were lining their pockets with Saddam's oil money bribes through the oil for food scandal. Yeah, we really need them on our side!
4. Tax structure. You mean the "fair" system where 50% of the people pay 96% of the taxes? By the way, anyone who paid taxes got a tax cut. Don't give me this "tax cuts for the rich" crap.
5. The Cabinet. OK, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm going to staff my cabinet with a bunch of people who fight like cats and dogs. I'm sure that a "dissenting opinion" will accomplish a lot. Do you think Kerry would've put conservatives in his cabinet just so he could have a "dissenting" opinion? There are plenty of people who disagree with Bush. He doesn't need to stock his cabinet with them.

I was right about vinny then. I am right now. There is no hypocrisy (hypocrisy, vinny) other than that of the right eh Vinny? Everything connected to the right is hyprocisy right Vinny? Tell me Vinny bomb any aspirin factories lately? Kill an janitors at midnight? Got an intern under your desk? Bottom line with out getting into all the other boring stuff with vinny. Nothing, absolutely nothing done by the right is correct. The right has no value system since it is not the value system of the left. Vinny still will not respond to any of his lying statements and prove them. Never has never will. i say what I said before. May we all agree to disagree. Except you vinny. I do love my country. vinny of course disagrees with this. Doesn't apply to "them" you know. Kerry lost. Don't look now. Most of America is coming back together. Just the hard core few that can not handle it are still trying to win the election. vinny.

Naahhh! 1. Didn't say abandon, but stop developing! Why do we need a new bunker-buster bomb? We want to stop Iran, but continue ourselves? A bit one sided, wouldn't you say.?? And now Putin in Russia wants new atomic weapons too. Do you see the new arms race developing here? Guess you didn't see the folly of spending TRILLIONS on the first arms race from 1950 to 1990. SO dumb!
2. Tolerance?! Notice that the Bush 'faith-based' initiatives include only fundamentalist Christian groups. No Jewish, no Islamic.
3. Europe. Oh, c'mon. They have been friends since WWII! Get real.
4. Taxes are NOT fair, I agree, but to free up the wealthiest means that the middle class will now be paying the most taxes - taxes for the breaks that the wealthy get, taxes to make up the breaks that big corporations get. Even Greenspan now says (right after the election) that the deficits are going to hurt us.
5. Didn't say fighters, I said BALANCE. Any moron who surrounds himself with Yes men (women) and doesn't hear other opinions is bound to fail. Hubris with get him with a vengence. Just hope he doesn't pull the country into a recession before he wizes up.

Vinnyism's. (Lies in other words)
Iran wants to build a Nuclear Weapon. That's not a Bunker Buster, which is a conventional weapon not WMD. Comparing Apples to Oranges eh vinny? Lying while you're at it. The need is obvious except to you. Left winger.
Want to provide some proof there vinny? You never do. You just lie and move on. You will here too.
No we haven't. I notice you did not respond to the money for oil UN bribe did you? Had you stymied didn't it? You don't know your history well do you? Want to prove they've always been friends. You can't so you won't. Well you won't cause you can't and besides it's not your style. Lying is.
Vinny you liar. Prove it. Prove it will mean the middle class will be paying the most taxes. Show us who the middle class is? Who makes jobs and pays people vinny middle class or wealthy? C'mon Vinny make a statement and provide some proof, other than lying through your left wing Liberal teeth. Greenspan has been wrong before. He may be wrong now, he has been saying this off, and on, for over twenty years and the last four specifically. What are the breaks they get Vinny? Describe them. You won't. You'd rather make facetious and fallacious statements.
Yeah like Kerry. He did. fits moron to a T, like you. Hubris: Overbearing pride or presumption; arrogance. ...........excessive pride, wanton violence. ...........overbearing pride or presumption. Kerry: Overbearing pride or presumption; arrogance. ...........excessive pride, wanton violence. ...........overbearing pride or presumption.
Opinion. So far backed up by nothing. As usual. You are as you are. A purveyor of lies and disinformation. No back up and no back bone.

If anything it means that the middle class will start pulling their own weight. Right now single filers who make up to $7,000 pay 10% tax, $7,001 - $28,400 15%, $28,401 - $68,800 25%, $68,801 - $143,500 28%, $143,501- $311,950 33%, and $311,951 or more 35%. And you have the gaul to say that this system is slanted in favor of the upper class. A fair tax is a flat tax, but of course liberals struck that system down long ago. I think some village is missing it's idiot.
