In the "Uncle Vinny" thread (General Rant section), I stated that I would open a thread devoted specifically to a comparison of the religious texts of the Hebrew, Christian, and Muslim faiths. In doing so, I promised to illustrate the caliber of ignorance inherent in the Muslim faith, as well as the unsurpassed level of intolerance and violence actively perpetuated in the Koran. I also promised to show how out of step Islam is with the modern world, both in its beliefs and practices. To that end, I am now opening this thread. I will return to the forum, as time allows, to compile the necessary information. All sources will be drawn from original texts and documented in Turabian format.
Islam is an anti-civilization cult par excellence. It has gradually eroded and destroyed every civilization it has touched and brought misery, poverty, ignorance and war to every country thus far infiltrated. Over 90% of the wars waged worldwide involve Muslims. Liberals who call for tolerance and justice for Islam OVERLOOK the fact that these very ideals are entirely absent in the religion they have deigned to defend.
Christians are not the only religion with a beef against Islam. Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism vent their own rage after enduring long-term violence. Islam is today being portrayed as a peaceful and tolerant religion. History proves otherwise! Tibetan monks and the Indian Sifus will be the first to tell you that that the only safe Muslim is a dead Muslim. Non-Muslims have always been persecuted under Islam. In fact, Islamic ideology is based upon an intense hatred of the non-Muslim, and this hatred is ordained in the Koran. For Muslims, there exist two kinds of non-Muslim enemies... kafir (non-believers in Islam) and ahl al-kitab (People of the Book). Kafir, such as Buddhists and Hindus, must either convert to Islam or face execution. People of the Book include Jews and Christians. These people need only submit to Muslim authority to avoid forced conversion or death. Although they may keep their original faith, their status becomes dhimmi (a "protected," yet inferior non-Muslim status). So instead of outright forced conversion or slaughter, the Christians and Jews would be allowed to remain somewhat unmolested as long as they acknowledged the superiority of the Muslim. Yet, as 100,000 dead Lebanese Christians and Israel's beleaguered Jewish population have discovered over the years, these guarantees of safety have proved worthless.
The word "ISLAM" is Arabic for "surrender" or "submission" to the will of Allah. In the language of the “Holy Qur'an”, Islam means the readiness of a person to take orders from God. "Islam" is not derived from the word, "peace," as Muslims and the liberal media would have us believe. Look it up in any dictionary and see for yourself. Seeing a Muslim praying nearly flat on his face five times a day even projects the appearance of a master-slave relationship... a submission of sorts. And while the Muslim is submissive to Allah, all "non-believers" (Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Catholics, etc.) MUST submit to the Muslim. That's how Allah wills it.
As Americans we all hold to the belief in religious tolerance, to some degree or another. We have no beef with tolerating any non-threatening doctrine, as long as it remains inside the parameters of the law and does not infringe on the civil liberties of others. It has always been commonplace to keep church and state separate from each other. But when a religion poses a threat to the very cultural foundations of our society, then indeed, it is time to cease the rhetoric and, in the spirit of yesteryear, raise the tomahawk.
