soon-to-be Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Specter's remarks regarding his intention to defeat any attempt (if there were to actually be any) to place pro-life justices on the United States Supreme Court is worrying many conservatives. Why? Because Sen. Specter was supported in the Pennsylvania senate primaries by, none other than, George W. Bush. Who was Specter running against? A conservative, passionately pro-lifer, by the name Pat Toomey. Bush campaigned personally on the eve of the primary against Toomey-for Specter, knowing that Specter was a pro-choice liberal.
WHY would a morally strong, conservative, pro-life person campaign for a liberal , pro-choice person - Knowing that person is in line to soon become the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman.
And why didn't conservatives notice this???

Because politics is about pleasing people...and if somewhere there was wind of a better "reward" for lack of better word, perhaps it was just a case of fence sitting. I dont know. Sad though. Here is a real question. Why are liberals so dishonest that they post under more than one account, just to make them look like someone has their back and agrees with them? I think because sometimes there are two peple living in one house so while the IP is the same the people are different.  |
