A 13 year old girl was brutally killed by a sex offender in FLA. My heart goes out to the family.
When are we going to learn that we cannot let these sick pathetic scums of the earth loose in our towns and neighborhoods to pray on our innocent children.
These types of people cannot be rehabilitated.. the first time someone is convicted of this type of crime, its a slow painful death, cut and dry. lots of lives saved that way. Castration and imprisionment is too good for them.

Get with it! Killing unborn babies and disabled women is where it's at. Killing those that would prey on our children is cruel and unusual, according to the liberals.

First of all, abortion is preventing the foetus from forming into a baby. It is a bit of a grey area but calling women who have abortions baby killers does nobody any good. What liberals have condoned killing disabled women? While I find child sex offenders to be abhorrent, I think it'd be much better to imprison these people. It'd be better to study them and find out why they abuse. Then we'd be able to prevent this type of behaviour from happening.

From my post above it is obvious that I understood that Mo was being sarcastic. That post you told me to read was a rant from someone wh clearly doesn't like abortion. What was I meant to gain from reading this? What did you mean when you said "#1 What's the matter does the truth hurt?" ?

In response to Dr. Gonzo's question, "What liberals have condoned killing disabled women?"
I don't recall any liberals coming to the aid of Terri Schiavo. I'm not saying they wanted to kill her per se, but they sure as hell didn't do anything to help keep her alive. In fact, they did one worse by putting politics above principles. If liberals were so upset about the Terry Schiavo ordeal for the right reasons, why haven't they followed up on it with action to keep the same kind of fiasco from happening again? Where are the awareness campaigns for living wills and power of attorney designations? I would certainly be on board with a cause like that.
While we're all busy playing politics we're missing an opportunity to use this issue to educate people on the importance of making personal, financial, and legal plans to deal with the incapacitation of a spouse. Oh well, I guess they got what they wanted, a public platform to bash W. I didn't agree with Bush's involvement, but right or wrong W stood on the principle of life. Liberals stood politically against W.
As for the abortion thing, I'll just offer you this hypothetical. If my prize winning showdog were impregnated by the mutt next door and I took her to the vet to have her litter aborted, the same people who support a woman's right to chose abortion are the same people who would want me and my vet thrown in jail for animal cruelty.

Terri Shiavo was basically dead. The only part of her brain that was alive was the part that regulated her hear beat etc. This was a deeply tragic event that should have been kept family. Be aware that I'm not a Democrat. I'm from Ireland and I don't affiliate myself with any political party so I don't really care about "liberals" (a.k.a. democrats). Your abortion hypothetical is laughable.

You can't be "basically dead." You're either brain dead or you're not. It is an objective measure. There is NO WAY to be brain dead, and still have natural respirations.
Starving Terri Schiavo is morally NO DIFFERENT from making people pass an IQ test or forfeit their lives. The only difference is where the bar is set.
I think the congress was within their rights to get involved. Her civil rights were violated.

We should RIP OUT THEIR LUNGS, and TEAR OUT THEIR LIVERS, and MAKE THEM EAT THEIR OWN SKIN!
Or perhaps, gladitorial games should be in order. Lets have them fight a lion with a toothpick!
I'm all for jail time and punishment for people who do this, but lets not turn this into some sort of excuse for revenge and violence.
Frankly, I don't think the government should support any death sentences, whether it be abortion or the electric chair.
But oh well, everyone likes to kill, so why not.
