When it seems the UN couldn't get any more reliable, a story surfaces to heighten my adoration for the world organization to a level previously unknown. This weeks chronicle comes straight from one of the poorest countries in the world, Congo. It seems that the world’s embodied conscious is in the midst not of the usual money corruption or cushy job handouts, no, this time it’s a sexual abuse crisis and at its core is a senior UN official from France, a South African colonel and hundreds of underage Congolese girls impregnated by UN “peacekeepers”. And that’s not all! There are also explicit photos showing UN “peacekeepers” frequenting Congolese brothels. Perhaps Annan (who shall be referred to henceforth as Mojo Jojo) won’t be able to wiggle his little rhesus body out of this one. But then again, this is the UN, the organization of endless possibilities! Instead of calling for the US to pull out of the UN, we should call for the UN to pull out of the Congo.. and their females.
Sorry! Couldn't resist.

Annan is built like and has the features of a tiny rhesus monkey. He looks like giant Volker's little pet monkey dressed in a suit. I kept waiting for Paul to break out the organ.

I remember seeing some stuff on FNC about this. They sent Steve Harrigan over to investigate this story awhile back. He was able to really uncover a lot of unknown info about what was really happening. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing that on any of the other cable nets. Do you?

I've had enough of the UN. For God sakes the PLO (a terrorist organization) has seats at the UN, and given the opportunity Kofi would roll out the red carpet for Hezbollah. I think we should rescend our membership, kick them out of the USA, and form the URRFII (United Republics Representing Free and Independent Individuals).
It should be made up of representatives of countries in which their leaders are elected freely by the people. Any communist, socialist, dictatorial, or terrorist state should be denied membership. After all, you don't defeat these evils by snuggling up to them (if you hang around and associate with people who have the flu, there's a good chance you'll get the flu also.) Basically, it should be made up of countries who have a common interest, not countries with whom we are trying to resolve our differences. I say this because I believe the ideals and freedom of America and mankind are above compromise.
The URRFII representative should have to be elected by the people of his country. After all, if you're going to establish an international governing body, your representative in that body should be elcected by his people if the policies of that governing body effect the people of the countries who participate. If your representative is granted his power by the people, that representative is much more likely to respect the will of the people for whom he speaks. Also, if the URRFII representative is elected by his people, the people are much more likely to pay attention to what's going on in the URRFII.
Under the current system of UN appointments, most people can't even name the person who represents their country in the UN. That's BAD because these delegates have no one to answer to. The UN is basically a political body with no backbone, meaning there is no one to hold them accountable.
The UN is the worlds version of Major League Baseball's All Star Game; every team has a representative no matter how bad their team sucks. At stake in the All Star Game is World Series homefield advantage for the team representing the winning league. If the Royals are 12-70 coming into the All Star game do you think their All Star representative gives a diddly poo about going all out during the game to help win homefield advantage for the Yankees, a team he hates? Of course not. If they can't win it themselves, certainly they aren't going to go out of their way to do anything to help their hated rivals win a World Series?
Basically, if there's something at stake, the membership should be made up of people who represent countries (or teams) who have something at stake.
What I'm trying to say in my analogy is that you have to have like-minded people with the same goals. The UN has too many Kansas City Royals on the payroll and too few Yankees. Its time form an international body that has the same goals we do.
