Females are the default sex, or the active sex. The fact that the vagina "passively" receives the "active" penis has caused people to think that females are passive, but they are not. You can throw all the Judeo-Christian-Islamic stuff about Eve being made form Adam's rib that you want, but the fact remains that fetuses are all female by default until hormones literally change them into males (if the sex chromosomes are XY, that is.) I mean, literally. The clitoris turns into a penis. ALL ORGANISMS, INCLUDING HUMANS, ARE FEMALE BY DEFAULT. MALES ARE A VARIATION ON THE ANCESTRAL FEMALE THEME, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I don't know exactly why this truth got reversed, but it was probably because women house the developing baby and give birth. Males took this as proof that women's function was to serve the man by delivering "his" child. Also, males have evolved to be physically larger than women, probably to protect them during the vulnerable times of pregnancy and childbirth. Because males lack such vulnerable functions, females never evolved ways of protecting males.
Feminism isn't about straggly groups of the weaker sex trying to compete with the dominate sex. It's about women reclaiming their rightful place as dominant sex. But we're nicer, so unlike males, we're not going to take advantage of the fact that we're the default sex. Thank us.
Women are the original item, and we're not going to let ourselves be dominated by men. So get used to it.

Have you picked up a science book anytime in the last several decades? The sex of the child is determined by DNA at the moment of conception.

That's genetic sex Mo, but not the sex that anyone else recognizes as such. Genetic sex doesn't mean much by itself. It is only through secondary sexual characteristics and socializing that people are conclusively identified as one sex or another, i.e. by having a specific set of "parts" and by dressing the part.
And if things are as simple as you'd have everybody believe, that "the sex of the child is determined by DNA at the moment of conception," what the heck do you make of those born with only one X chromosome, or two Xs and a Y?
I thought having two X chromosomes made the fetus female and the presence of both an X and a Y made the fetus a male?
Apparently not.

So the reason the "dominate" sex was dominated by the weaker sex is because your nice? Anything that would be dominated by a weaker anything would be stupid not nice. Your post does more harm to your position than good.
Try to come up with a logical solution to your position and try again.

These trivial scientific details should be irrelevant to the wider political issue. Even if it is sceintifically true that men are variations of women or the other way round, the point is that neither sex should be discriminated against.
