Tellyou what I think. I think your an A$$. You put pictures up with no explanation, with the intent to provoke. You don't know who did that or even where they are. You just WANT everyone to think the U.S. did it. We may have. You don't know what the circumstnaces are either. Now put up some pictures of the ones the terrorist killed. How about some of the ones that Saddam maimed or killed. How about some of the ones the French recently killed. A$$ Hat.

Sorry kiddo, not gonna buy it. You know how many kids we had brought into our Forward Operating Base (FOB) that stepped on landmines? Or one of my favorite stories: A 10 year old kid comes in with wounds and the village elder is saying that he was wounded by an American bomb. American medics treat him and try to figure out how in the hell he got hurt as the only bombs that were dropped that day were on Taliban/Al-Qaeda forces. It turns out that his father brought him out and gave him a gun and said 'Let's go kill Americans'. He wasn't an innocent victim he was out there shooting Americans!
The 'brave Iraqi freedom fighters', as you seem to like to think of them, employ some interesting tactics, allow me to explain. They would do what's called a 'baited ambush'. This happened to my platoon. We were driving down a road a patrol (in Humvees) when we started taking fire from our left. At the same time at a wedding ceremony, to our right, other insurgents fired in the air. Not knowing which direction the fire was coming from we fired on both sides. I've seen them use women and children as shields and I've seen them fire on their own people.
So before you get all high and mighty on me, go over there and see how jacked up those guys are.

Where did I say the Iraqi insurgents were good people? As for that 10 year old boy, if another country tried to occupy american, I might take my 10 year old nephew out to go shoot at their soldiers myself. The whole point is, this war was unneccessary. The pictures I showed are of very real people, with very real injuries. If you watch CNN-international I guarantee you would see the same things. In fact, on CNN-International they showed a lot of the carnage of US bombs when the statue of Saddam was being pulled down. They showed them on a split screen. A lot of innocent people have died because of the decisions our president has made. Whether our bombs killed them or the insurgents killed them, nobody would have killed them if we stuck with trying to catch Osama and let the UN worry about Iraq. Looks like they had Saddam pretty well in line.

Actually the story about the 10 year old was from Afghanistan, which I'm sure you're against our involvment there too.
Ok, let's review: We set up the No-fly zones in Iraq to protect the Kurds in the north and the Shiites in the south. Not only did Saddam regularly violate the no-fly zones, they also fired on our aircraft. He would repeatedly kill and imprison his own people, putting their bodies in mass graves. The worst was the slaughter of the Kurds with chemical weapons. And finally he sent kill-teams to assasinate George Bush Sr.
Yeah those aren't acts of war. You are correct, sir. We have no buisness in Iraq.

Actually, I was glad we went to Afghanistan. I wish we sent more troops there and got the job done instead of getting distracted with this Iraq bullshit.

As a soldier I can assure you joe that since Bush has been in office my benefits have only increased. 'Nuff said I would have to call you an idiot. That is absolutely not true. Here are some things Bush has done for soldiers' benefits: 1) Bush’s 2003 budget cut $3 billion from Veterans Administration hospitals. 2) Despite rising casualties in Iraq, the Bush administration has released a plan to cut $1 billion from the VA in 2005. 3) The administration seeks to close VA hospitals to “Priority 8†veterans with “non-service-related†illnesses who earn over $26,000 a year, and to levy a $250 annual charge on the rest. 4) The president cut off 164,000 veterans from their existing prescription drug coverage. 5) In 2003, the president tried to cut $75 a month from the “imminent danger†pay added to soldiers’ paychecks when they serve in a battle zone and $150 a month from the family separation allowance of soldiers serving overseas and away from their families. 6) While Mr. Bush won’t come clean about his own National Guard days, his top aides are “chickenhawks†who are eager to send others to fight, but got deferments themselves rather than serve in the military: Vice President Dick Cheney, Senior White House Advisor Karl Rove, Attorney General John Ashcroft, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and Republican congressional leaders Bill Frist, Dennis Hastert, Trent Lott and Tom Delay. quoted from Jane LaTour

5) In 2003, the president tried to cut $75 a month from the “imminent danger†pay added to soldiers’ paychecks when they serve in a battle zone and $150 a month from the family separation allowance of soldiers serving overseas and away from their families. But they still get combat pay, right? since there was not very much combat before GWB took office, they didn't get any of that. Now that he is in office, the majority of our soldiers are in combat and therefore receive this added benefit.
