I was thinking it might be a good idea for as many people as possible to send CBS news letters asking why 60 minuts seems not to be concerned about the fact that John Kerry refuses to have his military records released, when they presented very suspect documents "proving" that GWB served less than honorably in the NG.

It is interesting to note that in April of 1997, 60 minutes used a forged document on their program to support a story that the Customs Field Director of Operations in San Diego California, Rudy Camacho, was corrupt. The man who forged the document confessed after Camacho launched a suit against CBS. An "amicable" out of court settlement was reached. Part of the settlement was an apology to Camacho on National TV.
So the Bush NG docs are not the first time CBS and 60 minutes have used forged documents to support a story.
