How sick and gosh darn tired are you of hearing Kerry and Edwards talking about "Two Americas"? One for the rich, one for the poor; the old Democrat trump card, class warfare. Well, we know which America to which these two belong.
This is an excerpt from an article to which I'll provide a link.
"Sen. John Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, with assets of about $1 billion, would be among the richest families to ever occupy the White House, eclipsing even President Kennedy."

What about Mr. Edwards? He's even worse.
Here's a man who made millions by suing doctors, OBGYN's, nurses, and hospitals in cerebal palsy suits based on bogus science. He made his fortune convincing juries that cerebal palsy is casued by doctor negligence. New research proves this wrong. If I find a link to the science behind it, I'll post it for you. This man has done as much as anyone to raise the price of health insurance in the form of higher malpractice premiums, something he directly influenced through his frivolous lawsuits. My brother is a malpractice defense attorney, and my wife is a labor and delivery nurse. They have both told me that people like Edwards are the biggest reason for rising insurance costs. Because of the threat of lawsuits, my wife spends as much time covering her ass as she does delivering patient care. Now Edwards goes and bases a large part of his campaign on fixing a problem he helped create!!! If anyone has ever made their money off the backs of the less-fortunate, its Edwards. "Hello there, I'm really sorry your child was born with a debilitating condition. I would like to use your child's condiditon to make for myself millions of dollars. Whattaya think?"
I don't resent at all the fact that these two men have made millions of dollars. I don't resent their wealth, I resent their ethics. Don't play the class warfare, "rich people are evil" card when you're sitting on a pile of money that Evil Kneivil couldn't jump over.
What pisses me off so much about Edwards is that he's a man who grew up modestly at best, the son of a mill worker in North Carolina. He wasn't born into wealth, but obviously he worked his ass off to become successful, monetarily speaking. He didn't need government help to be successful. He did it on his own, and he made millions. Through his hard work, he put himself in position to make an honest, lucritive living. Here's the kicker, though, and this says a lot about his character. He used his power as an attorney to criminalize good doctors and nurses. He didn't represent people, he exploited them. So, Mr. Edwards, don't preach to me the concept of corporate greed and exploitation when you are as guilty of that as anyone else.
