Unfairenheit 9/11 The lies of Michael Moore. By Christopher Hitchens Posted Monday, June 21, 2004, at 12:26 PM PT To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental. To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery.

Most reasonable minded conservatives won't go see this movie, and I don't blame them. I do not want Michael Moore to see a single penny of my money. However, I will go see the movie. I'll probably read Clinton's fiction novel. I hear its over 900 pages long. At least I won't need toilet paper for a while. Anyways, we need to be aware of what these idiots are doing. We need to know what they're saying, we need to be aware of the lies they're telling. They're dangerous, and there are people in this country who get their political information from Michael Moore. There are people in this country who will vote for John Kerry based on the lies spewed by MM.
