Please show me where I said this. This is not my position at all. If women want to work fine. If a women gets pregnant and still wants to work, put the child in daycare. I have no problem with this. You're saying I stand for things I don't and then arguing these points with me, the typical liberal defense, can't fight with their arguments, make some up and fight with those.
You're really quite nuts.

Actually, I wrote that about men, not you specifically. When I used "you" in the last sentence, it would have been clear even to a third-grader that I was referring to men in general, AS I HAD BEEN THROUGHOUT THE REST OF MY POST.
Looks like you're the one who would benefit most from reading.

But you're including me in that group, are you not rube? I would like a statistic showing that most men hold this opinion. Were you abused as a child? You really have a crazy outlook on the world, and I would like to get to the source of the problem.

The best thing to do is keep yourself out of political discussions. Just because r. didn't say that opening a door is demeaning to a woman, or Ian didn't say that women should stay home is irrelevant. I can tell you there are plenty of people who say both! I know men who have been cussed up one side and down the other for opening a door for a woman.
Both of you need to cool it with the personal insults or this thread will have to be closed!

And I've known and observed countless men who imply that women are whores when they allow a man to support them. It matters not if the woman in question is married with children. This utterance, in a cleaned up version, was spoken on the sitcom Becker not two weeks ago. I've heard the same expressed countless times by men who apparently don't think I know what the import of it is.
Fact is, the choices for most women is to either work and forget about children, try to juggle both, or assume a position of dependency which even in 1950 was not without its SERIOUS pitfalls. I argue all of this mess is because men refuse to stay home.
That's right: if it became commonly accepted that men could stay home and raise the kids, the abortion rate would decrease.

Can I say " countless men who imply that women are prostitutes when they allow a man to support them?"

On the personal insults front, I did not start them. If you look back in the board you'll see that remedios refered to me as an idiot. I tried to combat this as civiliy as a could, being remedios is a woman , to no use. Obviously r. can't argue her positions rationaly and goes to the insults. I felt that sinking to her level was my only chance to get through to her, and I apologize for any immature and offensive behaviour that might have insued. For that I am truely embarrased.

The first insult hurled was, in fact, by you:
I'd like to end this post by saying that I find your conclusion absolutly absurd, and that I will from now on refer to any ignorant feminist as a dumb sow.
To which I replied (5 posts and about an hour LATER):
If you can't quote it, don't claim I said it. Get it, idiot?
You need to keep better track of your tongue.

Because I believed you were refering to men as pigs. Look in the post. After you clarified your position I did not say anything until you hurled another insult. Don't get in a tizzy dear.

Being insulting is not excused by not understanding what I wrote, especially when the reason you didn't understand it is because you have no desire to read it carefully.
If misunderstanding is an excuse for insults, then I, when I correctly understood you to be calling me out, have even better standing for calling you an idiot, no?
See, even if you continue to believe that baloney, you'd have to admit it's not likely to keep order.
Bad rule, mister, bad rule.
