Most Protestant churches speak out against Catholic teachings, that's why they're not Catholic churches.

At least ol' fat Hagee isn't a racist Jew basher like Wright.

Even if you think storms aren't acts of God, and that the Koran doesn't teach to kill (you'd be wrong) but none of it matters. This isn't McCain's pastor; all he did was endorse him. There is no 20 year relationship, or even a relationship at all.

I think there are places in the Bible that talking about killing too, check out Deuteronomy, the three primary religions all share common elements. That is why our founders recognized the importance of the separation of church from state.

And all protestant churches were formed from Catholicism historically and some are so close they are indistinguishable. No genuine church preaches against another, only the far out nuts do that.

What kind of church do you attend? You seem to, at least, presume to know the pulse of Christian circles, what goes on, and what is not "genuine."

I disagree, I think there is a double standard, Hagee or others are filled with ideas that are divisive. And how do you know how Wright used "G D America?"" It could easily be, "Darn, America you can do better."

No one is claiming that Wright is the only person in the country that is hateful or divisive. Just that he's the only pastor and with a 20 year intimate relationship and described as a "mentor" to a leading candidate for president.

To rational, objective Americans, "God damn America" is never a positive thing.

Funny, all the right-wingers crying about "liberal bias" in the media are strangely silent in the face of the tremendous discrepancy between the media coverage of crazies Obama and McCain are respectively associated with.

C'mon MO--be consistent now. Admit that McCain needs to publicly, loudly repudiate Hagee and Co., and then insist the repudiation doesn't matter, he's already guilty by association. LOL

There is no reason for McCain to repudiate Hageee. He's not his pastor, and Hagee is pretty main stream, anyway.

Wright would be crazy no matter what color he was.
