Arright folks: Nice forum. What's you're read on this: The New Hampshire House voted overwhelmingly to kill a gun control bill which would have restricted the possession of guns on public school property. NH will continue to be one of a tiny handful of states that still respects the 2nd Amendment in and around schools. I and other Free Staters had a chance to testify against this bill back when it was in committee and won the hearing's only standing ovation! The committee voted our way narrowly, recommending 7-6 that the "control freak" bill was "inexpedient to legislate." That enabled yesterday's stunning victory in the House. How stupid. And you need a gun on school grounds why? 200 years ago ain't now and you can keep and hug and hold your guns all you want if they make you feel secure just respect and control them as we do all dangerous devices.

Good for NH! Just think of all the lives that could have been saved in the school shootings if there had been a teacher or administrator who was packing some heat.

You know, things are really looking up for conservatives. Take the following into consideration (not in any specific order).
1) NH upholds the 2nd amendment in public spheres, despite the abuse of gun rights by a few misguided delusional teens elsewhere. Meaning, of course, that Americans won't sacrifice their freedoms due to the abuses of a small minority.
2) Virginia voted down a proposal on licensure to carry a weapon in public.
3) A group of ordinary citizens gathered in Tombstone, and took the issue of illegal immigration into their own hands-- stopping hundreds of Mexican illegals at the border of Arizona.
4) George Bush won re-election against a war and politics profiteer, John Kerry.
5) Cardinal Ratzinger, the epitome of Christian conservatism, was appointed as Pope in the Catholic realm.
6) We have a war in progress. Doesn't matter where. Doesn't matter why, and doesn't matter what for. What matters is, we have a chance to rev up our Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Praise God.
Yes, things are looking up for conservatives.

How stupid. And you need a gun on school grounds why? If you don't like it, no sweat. No one's going to force you to move to New Hampshire.
