With the el grande terrorist Arafat dead, is there hope for peace? Maybe. we'll have to see how Mahmoud Abbas handles things but I'm not too confident. there are still a couple of posotions up for grabs and some of the contenders are servinf life sentences for multiple murders against Israeli children. If these types of madment are allowed into prominent PA psitions, there'll never be peace. The PA needs to start think about it's people and elect the types of people who really want peace and not piece.
Most of the PA wants a piece of Israel (actuyally all of it) and death to all Jews (they think Hitler was awesome) and not Peace. The Palestinians should take a look at Egypt and Jordan who were able to achieve lasting Peace agreements with Israel.

There is no hope for peace. If anything Arafat kept the terror attacks to a minimum. I am sure some super extremist will take over for him and the war will be on. I am sure America will have to run to rescue Israel soon. They do, afterall, hold the gates of heaven and if we do not protect them no American will ever get in to Heaven.

Wasn't there a former leader (or someone high up in the PLO) who was for peace with Iseral and didn't really condone the attacks on the Isreali's? I read something about this guy in the newspaper but I don't remember his name.
