Intelligent people know that MANY more people live in urban areas, so a geographic map is actually a distortion of the truth. Places like Wyoming may have 1 person per square mile, takes up a lot of space on the map, while places like Manhattan may have 100,000 people per square mile. So, the illustration above is not the best projection method. Here is the vote by demographics HOW CALIFORNIA VOTED EDUCATION Less than High School Bush 58% Kerry 37% High School Grad Bush 50% Kerry 48% Some college Bush 50% Kerry 49% College Grad Bush 40% Kerry 57% Post Graduate Bush 33% Kerry 64% (Dumber more likely to vote for Bush) URBAN City over 50,000 Bush 37% Kerry 60% Rural, small town Bush 58% Kerry 39% INCOME Under $15k Bush 29% Kerry 70% $15-30k Bush 42% Kerry 55% $200K or more Bush 64% Kerry 36% ;D

UncleVinny is right by saying the map is "a distortion of the truth" however, does that mean that everybody living in NYC becomes more important then everybody living the entire state of Utah? No.

From your webpage...
From IQTest.com
Having a test indicate how intelligent some one is is completely rediculous. You are as intelligent as you want to be...

Heh, actually I just came across that table earlier, and it made me smile. They don't say it should be taken as fact, but there certainly does seem to be a bit of a trend emerging - that much is obvious. Statistically, it is very unlikely that the table is nonsense, though to be fair it is possible. "You are as intelligent as you want to be." I doubt that, or we'd all be smartypants. But to be fair, IQ tests don't measure anything other than peoples' ability to take IQ tests. It is possible to be good at IQ tests and be dumb, or be intelligent and fail every IQ test you ever try. Though someone who is good at IQ tests tends to think more logically, as that is the kind of thinking and questions that IQ tests involve - it's a bit hard to think of any kind of accurate measurement or test for intelligence.

"You are as intelligent as you want to be." I doubt that, or we'd all be smartypants. If you set a limit for yourself, you will most definitely be limited. If you believe you can do something, you will do it. It's just how much you want whatever it is you want to happen. Just read the quotes I have in my sig...

Just read the quotes I have in my sig... Hmm. "You are as intelligent as you want to be" I don't agree with, to better explain why I'll just use an example here. Right now I'm taking a maths degree, and the maths is certainly not easy stuff. Back when I was 8 years old, I couldn't just say "I'm intelligent enough that I can do these horrible questions." I could wish to be as intelligent as I wanted, but I wouldn't have a hope of solving them! "You can be as intelligent as you want to be" would be a better quote. It implies that whilst you may not be as intelligent as you want to be, you can always strive towards it. Haha, we're debating over a quote here. Ah well, what better thing to do at 1:20am, eh.

But if you're just like "I'll never be able to ace this test..." well, you wont. The mind is a beautiful and powerful thing.
