Yeah, that was cute TN - I always enjoy humor.
Point is, yes, joblessness under 6%, but they pay MUCH less in the last 4 years - average of $1500 less per household AND most do not carry health insurance. Even people with major technical skills cannot find jobs. Many tech jobs going overseas. Meanwhile, the rich get richer, the poor have babies.
Again - do the math. 280 million people in the US. $1 billion comes to $3.57 for every billion the governent spends.
$200 billion so far in Iraq = $714 for every man, woman and child. Household of 4 people? That's $2857 out of a family's income. Oh what about the 450 billion for defense? That's $3200 per person / or almost $1300 per household of 4 people. Oh another $75 billion this January, add another 500 per person, $200 per HH. Shall we add it up?
Still wondering why some people oppose the war?

Ooops some errors there
Normal defense budget is 450 billion That's 1600 per person / $6426 per household of 4
Iraq at $200 is $714 per person, $2856 per HH of 4
January - another $75 billion - another 268 per person, $1071 per HH of 4
TOTAL SO FAR:
$2582 per person for defense $10,328 per household of 4. No end in sight.
Whoops, what's that?! Iran, North Korea now gearing up! Hold on to your wallets. I guess "Give Peace a chance" is out of the question, ha, ha!

Social Security budget for 2004, $534 BILLION, that's BILLION, with a B! $534 BILLION in ONE YEAR!! Taxpayer money, collected by the government and redistributed, communist style. That's $1907 per person, money spent by the government on a SOCIAL PROGRAM. We're spending more on welfare than we are on defending our country. Am I the only one outraged by this???

Warped concept! That is money that I paid in. YOU are not paying ME. I paid my share already. Get real! $450 for defense - that's legitimate. ANOTHER $200 billion plus ANOTHER $75 billion EXTRA for a pre-emptive war, now THAT is INSANE!
That is money we do not have to spend! That money belongs to American, and Bush is spending it on Iraq and donating to Halliburton corp. Now, THAT is insane.
Lookat the London newspapers - Headline "How can 58 million American be so DUMB?!!?"

Yeah. Right. It was drugged out Liberals with their minds blown that voted for Kerry along with Yellow Dogs who vote for Yellow Dogs as long as their Democraps. Concaine users looking for a fix and offering votes for concaine. They got it, went home, used it. Forgot why they got it. Turned on the TV's and watched the pretty colors on the Sign Off Channel. Forgot to vote. Forgot who to vote for. No loss. Liberls looking for lies to support and traitors to prop up. Hanoi John and his running dog lackey were told to take a hike. Why don't you? The map is more red than blue. You are more blue than true. Stuff it Vinny.

Just read a book by Pat Buchanan. Smart fella! And not exaxtly a 'liberal.' He exposes all the flaws in Bush's so-called logic. Seems war dog Wolfowitz charmed both bush and Rumsfeld into thinking they should be the policemen of the world. Buchanan says this a no-win quagmire. I worder if Wolfowitz being Jewish is more concerned bout destroying the enemies of Israel than doing what's right for the US.

You are right to some extent, but totally lack articulation. Let me just say that the problem is that issue morality has no place in politics because morality is relative economic, social, geographic, ethnic and a host of other factors including religious beliefs.

Just like Edward Gibbons wrote in the "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" (if you haven't read it try to read something else besides the Bible) Chrsitians will be the reason the US heads toward a downward slide. Right wing Christians who can only think of issues in one dimension (abortion, abortion, gays, gays) are being used by wealthy, right wing Republicans. Don't be surprised when your benefits get cut or over-taxed and underpaid. If all of you nutcases like Bush so much why not volunteer for Iraq??? I would never volunteer for war, I don't believe in it. In what you are saying, you believe Christ will be the reason the U.S. fall. This is obserd. Satan will be the reason the US "heads toward a downward slide." If everyone in America would look to Jesus for guidance, who could hurt us? The lord is my shephard there is nothing I shall want. It is Hucklebucks like you that are bringing our country to it's end.
