Legalize pot, but keep it a regulated substance like tobacco or alcohol. I could think of a few ways to use the extra tax revenue from taxing pot/no longer having to incarcerate people for possessing pot.

Ian, yes, addictive drugs are tough, look at Russ Limbaugh for instance. I'm not sure how we manage them but putting people in jail for minor drugs seems a waste of society's capital.
