None are so blind As those who will not see Today's news (Oct.22) A poll of Iraqi voters shows most would support religious clerics in an election, and would not support the US-backed Awalli. This is the "worse case scenario" for the Bush administration. It shows that forced 'democracy' will not work, and efforts to change Iraqi culture to fit Bush administration goals is a failed strategy. Iragis, given the chance, would return to their feudal ways. Meanwhile, almost half of Bush supports still believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, even though that has been proven false None are so blind as war dogs who will not see! A 15-month investigation by Carl Levin (MI) shows that "Pentagon officials exaggerated intelligence and ignored CIA assessments in an effort to justify military action in Iraq." Yet Bush insists on 'staying the course.' America was duped into invading Iraq my manipulated intelligence reports. Meanwhile, the administration admits the depth and strength of the insurgency in Iraq is stronger than they had expected. And still, may people see this war as justified. None are so blind as war dogs who will not see!
