Hi - There is a lot about Bush that I had liked, but when i'm honest with myself, the things i've read have kinda made me wonder a little. I don't fully understand all the issues, but this website has helped. It talks about the war, and the economy. Are these facts true? did the war in Iraq really make things easier for Al Qaeda? Can you help me figure this out? Thanks so much for your help! -Searching |

This is my first post, so please be patient with me.
I'm not sure there are any easy answers to the whole Irag-Al Quaeda connection. That being said, however, I do believe we had to do something in Iraq. Saddam wasn't QUITE ready to do anything to us, but I firmly believe he was preparing.
I don't know where or when he said it, but I've heard that Kerry said he would rather have Saddam still in power than the "mess" we're involved in now. I guess that would mean that 60 years ago he'd rather have left Hitler in place.
As far as the WMDs are concerned, I'm not surprised that none have been found. The UN paid lip service to Saddam for how many years and STILL they did nothing. It's like the police holding a community meeting to let a drug dealer know that in...oh 6 months or so...they're going to raid your drug house. Hello? Would you maybe try to get rid of the stash before the deadline? It's probably a poor analogy, but that's how I look at that issue.
Yes, the Iraq situation scares me. But there are good things going on over there that the networks and most news outlets just don't think are important enough to cover. Bodies and mayhem sell more news. And, as an extra bonus, it stirs the pot so opponents get more hysterical and THEY get more news coverage, and on, and on, and on. What a wonderful thing for our enemies to see across the globe.
What scares me most, though, is I have no idea what Kerry would do...and I don't think HE knows what he'd do. He says he has ideas, but what exactly are they (aside from going to the UN like Oliver with his hand out) and saying "Please like me". Contrary to what Kerry said, Bush did try to work with the UN but they weren't interested. They just kept wanting to prolong things, as they had for umpteen years already.
Anyway, I know I got a little off track here, and I know I probably did nothing in the way of answering your question. Like I said...be patient. It is a virtue.

You're also too much a coward to post the name of the "website" in your post. You're also an agregious liar. I'm quite convinced that there was never anything you liked about Bush. You're just like the "undecided" voters, who I've heard say things like, "Yeah, I was gonna vote for Bush, until the debate. . ." What a crock! As for your website. . . pfffff. Get a life!! This is what I hate about you people, you self proclaimed geniuses. Most of us feel like when a guest comes on the board, and that's what you are, they should be respectful enough to look around a bit and not start a thread that are just like half the others. We have discussed it for years! Look around a bit! Have enough class to not expect us to keep repaeting ourselves. Be nice newbie or go the hell away! Got it!

I'll respond to a an honest question when I see one. Did you even bother to look up the website? We're enlightened enough to know what is legitamate and what is not. Trying to do what? Drop bombs on our website? Balls? What balls does it take to post crap and run? If you had taken the time to pull your head out of your silly ass and fully read his post, you would see what "Truth"'s stance on the issues are. Who's a guest? Looks like we're all members to me. Nobody owes you any respect (lol), most people don't have the time to "look around." Most of us "newbies" feel like whenever a "whatever you call yourself" comes on a board, they should be respectful and "classy" enough to to realize that. And you just called me stupid, how classy. You don't know the difference between sincerety and spam. That to me is a pretty good indication that you're a liberal. You're also not intelligent or intellectually honest enough to recognize a hit and run spam piece. If you think you or anyone else is treated in a way that is not fair, you're free to go elsewhere.
