Sounds like a pompous, self righteous view of Christianity. By that standard, everyone is a hypocrite. Romans 10 :3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Why don't you explain to me what that verse means in the context of Romans 13:1-6? Oh I understand you mean you don't like being judged righteously and accurately? Deut 1:16-17 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him. Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it. {respect...: Heb. acknowledge faces} John 7:24 - Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. If you mean "everyone" as all those who loves the injustice of the United States, then "Yes" that includes everybody. True Christians desire righteous justice. Righteous justice is something that the United States refuses to provide. That is self-evident from the Thug Bush. and Saddam is not a thug... I never said he wasn't, did I? I am sure you could compare notes with him on being a thug. Funny, when you were funding Saddam's regiem you overlooked all his "bad points". Typical hypocrite maneuver. Just like you overlook China's thug ability so you can open trade with them. You know you gotta have that money. It doesn't matter how many throats you have to slit to turn a profit. Profits are the life blood of capitalism - even if the blood comes from other people's veins.

Why should anyone really care what the Marxist annan thinks. He heads up a rogue organization that has Quadaffi as head of the UN's human rights commission.
As far as I'm concerned the world would be a better place without the UN and much safer. Right now it has been taken hostage by a bunch of anti-semitic dictators and thugs.

Why should anyone really care what the Marxist annan thinks. If annan is a marxist then why are you funding his marxist activities? You must be a marxist then too since only a marxist would fund another marxist. "Quadaffi as head of the UN's human rights commission" That is almost as funny as the thug, called the United States, being on the Security Council. "Right now it has been taken hostage by a bunch of anti-semitic dictators and thugs." You must be talking about the United States since they are one of the few with veto power.

Oh, please! I really doubt that the person you were responding to really has any control over the US being in the UN. The best they can do is vote for the candidate that has promised and proved not to have a brown UN nose. Your reply has a "I know you are but what am I" quality to it. If you hate the US so much, leave.

Apparently, you think you're God. Marx and Engels showed the reality of liberalism; the result: 20 million executed by Stalin and 10 million executed by Mao.

Sounds like thug response. Actually, the thugs will be leaving - just read Matt chapter 13. The word "thug" isn't there but the word "tares" sure is. Apparently, you think you're God. No, actually I know I am to imitate God, not be God: Eph 5:1-2 Then be imitators of God, as beloved children, and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell. I do like your imitation of a thug, as it is very convincing! Oh, by the way, when are you going to explain your verse in the context of Romans Chapter 13:1-6. Don't worry, I won't be holding my breath.

I really don't know what you mean. The Bible does not contradict itself. If you're looking for help with interpreting it, I'm sure there are people here who would help, but it most certainly doesn't belong in a thread about the UN.

Why are you sorry you are a Liberal and a leftist? As to Republicans, that is between you and them. You would not know what a True Christian believes. You are not a true Christian. The only ones that want injustice are the Muslims. Period. That would be you. Your type is most easily recognizable. You look like this. Hey Turkey...(Don't hurt your feet) When you go around quoting something you are unfamiliar with (like the Christian bible) it has a tendency to type cast you. As being the ignorant fool you are. Bitter? Yep. always have been, always will be, bitter at those who try to kill me, and mine. You would not understand that. It isn't Islam. Slander? There you go. Prove positive you have not got a clue. No slander has occurred anywhere in any of the post in this thread by any of us. As to you, that is a different matter. You are eaten up with vitriolic hatred for that which you do not understand. Democracy and Christianity. You are the archetypical insipid little man with a big hatred for those you consider superior. Overblown Ego and Rhetoric. No ID. Low self esteem.

Your idiotic, school-yard logic doesn't change your ridiculous statement.

He has said it without using the word. I read enough. I think you need to bone up on the history of the U.N. before you start over-exerting your limited capacity for abstract thought. Your articles are garbage. They only quote an Gangster reading what "the charter" says.
Who cares?

I really don't know what you mean. That answer certainly matches your understanding of this verse you quoted, zero: Romans 10 3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. The Bible does not contradict itself. If you're looking for help with interpreting it, I'm sure there are people here who would help, but it most certainly doesn't belong in a thread about the UN. The Scriptures don't contradict themselves. Hey, you got something correct for a change. Doesn't belong in this thread? Oh, I see. . . you are one of those that practices his religion in church for one hour then reverts back to your normal self during the next 167 hours of the week (7 days/week x 24 hours/day = 168 hours if the math is too complicated for you). Why are you sorry you are a Liberal and a leftist? As to Republicans, that is between you and them. You would not know what a True Christian believes. You are not a true Christian. The only ones that want injustice are the Muslims. Period. That would be you. Hey, thanks for the blessing! You know if you would stand up straighter your knuckles wouldn't drag so much on the ground. Just a posture tip. Oh, by the way, I said I was NOT A LIBERAL and I AM A CHRISTIAN . . . the banana goes into the mouth not the eye. . . could explain the reading problem. Did . . I . . type . . slow . . enough . . for . . you? Your idiotic, school-yard logic doesn't change your ridiculous statement. I will say that is a better, not good, but better comeback then "Is not!" "Is not!". I must admit I do imagine you at this moment jumping up and down having a hissy fit, though. He has said it without using the word. I read enough. I think you need to bone up on the history of the U.N. before you start over-exerting your limited capacity for abstract thought. Your articles are garbage. They only quote an Gangster reading what "the charter" says. Who cares? Seems to me Saddam was described as a thug when he invaded Kuwait illegally, so Bush has the same shoe size. You lick Bush's shoes, so whatever. As as for Annan, he is your ganster, you hired. My articles must actually be pretty good to get a bunch of thugs so riled up.

Great! You've shown that you're a master of pre-school debate. Come back when you have something interesting to say. Btw, what is a ganster? Oh, so now we're thugs? " Are not!" "Are not"

Great! You've shown that you're a master of pre-school debate. Come back when you have something interesting to say. Btw, what is a ganster? You've used that retort, rehashed, twice now. . . it really wasn't even funny the first time. Sorry, that typo must have really strained your brain. The typo/word "ganster" should have been "gangster". I hope you can sleep tonight now that the mystery is solved. Maybe after a good night's sleep you can come up with some better . . . I am not expecting great. . . comebacks. link=board=Politics&thread=1095481762&start=25#1 date=1095736811] Oh, so now we're thugs?
Man . . . how slow are you? I said that how many post ago and you just noticed it? link=board=Politics&thread=1095481762&start=25#1 date=1095736811] " Are not!" "Are not"
Don't they have a smile face that jumps up and down doing a hissy fit? Oh well, I still have a picture in my head that is worth a 1000 words.

Not at all, but I can have normal conversation and debate with people without breaking out the Bible verses in a way that suggests that anyone who does not agree with me is against God. I believe that He wants me to use it (His word) to learn and spread the gospel to those who have not heard. I don't believe that He wants us to smack people over the head with His word, and to me, that is blasphemy.
If you don't understand the verse I used in the context in which it was posted, than touché. That was kind of the point in and of itself. I won't ask you to explain yours, because it's becoming increasingly apparent to me that I'm really not interested in what you have to say.

Shamgar, please, use a little bit of logic here. Annan is at least somewhat of a Marxist. How do any of the conservatives here support him? They don't. It's the leftists (liberals) in the U.S. who support him. Marxism is a leftist idea, so naturally the leftists support the guy. Of course there are a few who would consider themselves liberals but aren't too far to the left and are more moderate, but that's a different story. The benefit of the U.S. being a part of the U.N. Security Council is that we prevent the U.N. from being overly anti-Semitic against Israel. You crazy liberals who love "tolerance" so much are really quite blind to the fact that the U.N., on the whole, is an anti-Israel organization. This stems from nearly all of its member nations being anti-Israel for political reasons, or just being downright anti-Semitic. As a part of the U.N., we've saved Israel from sanctions on several occasions. We also vetoed a pitiful U.N. Resolution back in the early 80's that tried to condemn us for our invasion of Grenada. It probably is in the best interests of the U.S. to remain in the U.N., though it is also probably in the best interests of the U.S. for there to be no U.N. at all.

I believe that He wants me to use it (His word) to learn and spread the gospel to those who have not heard. I don't believe that He wants us to smack people over the head with His word, and to me, that is blasphemy. You must be preaching another Jesus, then. II Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different (1) gospel, which ye did not accept, ye do well to bear with him . (1) Gr good tidings ; Compare 2 Co 2:12) The Jesus of the Scriptures used his tongues to smite the wicked. Isaiah 11:1-5And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: (quick...: Heb. scent or, smell) But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. (reprove: or, argue) And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. If you don't understand the verse I used in the context in which it was posted, than touché. That was kind of the point in and of itself. I won't ask you to explain yours, because it's becoming increasingly apparent to me that I'm really not interested in what you have to say. Oh, I certainly understand what the verse means. As I said before it is obvious you have no concept of the meaning. It takes no skill to throw out verse, out of context, as you have done. To build with them is them is limited to those with building skills you lack. Ecclesiastes 12:11 - The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. As for you not listening, that is quite obvious to since you are a rebellious thug: Isaiah 30:9-11 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. Shamgar, please, use a little bit of logic here.Annan is at least somewhat of a Marxist. I don't remember disagreeing that Annan was a Marxist. He could be communist, socilaist, devil worshiper, etc. He is just as much a snake to me. How do you (conservatives/liberals, etc) support him? Lets see . . . with money . . with soldiers . . . with weapons . . . with advertisment/promotion (seems to me Bush is promoting the UN today as a speaker). I seem to remember stating more than once that I was not liberal. . . "dense" is a word that comes to mind. Isn't that nice, it's the last hour and you are giving aid and comfort to antichrists: I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour. II John 1:7 For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. What is the judgment against those who give aid and comfort to antichrists? 2 John 1:9-11 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Proof positive that the deeds of Bush, the US, and their supporters are evil! It probably is in the best interests of the U.S. to remain in the U.N., though it is also probably in the best interests of the U.S. for there to be no U.N. at all. Sure sounds double minded to me: James 1:8 A double minded man B]is unstable in all his ways. But then again what would you expect fom some one who give a greeting, arms, money, etc to antichrists?
