Affirmative action is a racist policy and should be stopped. If you can't fire someone based on Race, sex, or religous affiliation then you shouldn't be able to hire people based on those characteristics either.

Affirmative Action is an insult to blacks. It basically says to blacks, "you can't get a job based on your own merits, you need government help." What a slap in the face!!! This kind of ideology discourages black achievement and encourages dependence on government. If blacks are taught that they can't succeed regardless of their education, talent, or work ethic, what motivation do they have to work hard or get an education?
On the flip side, what if you were a brilliant, talented, educated black man? How would you feel if everyone in your office viewed you as simply a token "diversity hire"?
I know blacks who would fall into each of the two previous categories. Either way, its not fair at all.

That's why I'm not a democrat. I believe all their social progrmas further the downfall of African Americans and other minorities. The Dems wnat to keep all minorities in their place so that their agenda will continue.
That's why I dislike Jesse Jackson. I think he's an elitist who doesn't give a rip about Afdrican American's. He just wants power and where would it be African American's were prosperous.

Good point,
Without racism there is no Jesse Jackson, so he continues to do all he can to perpetuate racism by injecting it into every issue possible. I live in the south, and I've seen it first hand. Jesse has done more to set back black equality as anyone in the last 30 years. In the 50's, blacks didn't have the opportunities that whites did, but now they do. Yet Jesse is still preaching to blacks that they are being held back. The only thing holding blacks back is their allegiance to fools like Jesse. Jesse is trying to be the next MLK. That war is over yet Jesse keeps trying to fight it. The sooner blacks let go of this crap the better.
