Has anyone read a new political novel entitled TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT? I just finished the e-book and I couldn't put it down. Was wondering what other people thought. It's going to be controversial, though, since it slam dunks illegal immigration and affirmative action among other things.
Anyone else out there who has read it please let me know.

I read it, Hardcharger. Pretty good, though not for the faint hearted. You can find more about the book and author at the website www.winterwolfpublishing.comThat's where I got it.

Here's a review posted on the Institute for Historical Review website: A little further down the road to annihilation is the latest emanation of still another of the tribe of these "right-thinking" folk, Elmer Davis, the George Creel of America's second war of propaganda against its people. In his Two Minutes Till Midnight, he begs us to resign ourselves to the inevitable -- hydrogen bomb warfare -- in the supreme effort to bring into the world the reign of righteousness and virtue that his most recently promoted planetary butchery somehow failed to flush out into the open. Mr. Davis' line that our only alternatives are world Communist slavery or atomic disintegration is the most dishonest fakery yet spawned by this bloody tribe. It does not appear that Mr. Davis learned a particle from the four brain-chilling reports of Dr. Ralph E. Lapp in the November 1954 and February, May, and June 1955 issues of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, on the now predictable effects of even a restricted hydrogen bomb war.

Hey Walter,
I don't think that 's the same book. I checked out the posted website and this book is fiction. It looks pretty good; I ordered a copy so I'll let everyone know how it is.

I read it Hardcharger. Thought it was great, except the end fooled me. I liked the way the diary entries shot down all those liberal notions. I give it two guns, er, I mean two thumbs up!
