In America, the Republic, the Constitution is the ruler of all U.S. governments. Read Article VI and Amendment X. The Constitution is the only, and supreme, Law U.S. governments are obliged to obey. It is Citizens duty and responsibility in citizenship to enforce that Law, the Constitution.
Today American Citizens are living under Federal illegal and unconstitutional legislative laws. American Citizens are being arrested by law enforcement officers for violating illegal unconstitutional legislative laws and the Courts are enforcing those illegal unconstitutional legislative laws. Generally these unconstitutional legislative laws are enacted under the Federal Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). We, the People (U.S. Citizens), are not Commercial entities. Therefore, the UCC is unconstitutional when applied to We, the People, Private Citizens.
We, the People, need these illegal unconstitutional legislative laws repealed.
Citizens of a Republic do not have direct input into legislation (enacting, repealing legislative law) and so it is in America the Republic, Citizens cannot repeal, or enact, federal legislative laws. Therefore, the only route to getting illegal unconstitutional legislative laws repealed is by electing honorable Citizens to office that will honor the oath of office. Honorable Citizens will work toward repealing illegal unconstitutional legislative laws.
The duty of American Citizens in citizenship is simply enforcing the Constitution of the United States. American Citizens have only three “Powers” available in citizenship to use to enforce the Constitution. Those three “Powers” are; The Vote (for a candidate that will honor the oath of office), Jury Duty, and Arms. Allan

The US Constitution is dead. The rule of law is dead. In Congress, if you hear during a debate a congressmonkey calling something "unconstitutional," it's usually a liberal whining that a proposed law goes against the precedents set by judicial activists.
In modern American, might makes right. If you can get away with a crime, you've done nothing wrong.
Your vote is worthless, those who control America have seen to that. The ignorant and the dumb have been so pushed into voting that their votes overwhelm the votes of the informed voters. And, should a vote still go against the wishes of the ruling elite, a judge will simply declare the will of the people to be unconstitutional (e.g. the people voted to outlaw AA, racial discrimination, in California...)

The Constitution dead! What horsepucky.
The Constitution is dead only in certain citizen's with dead brains.
Everyone elected to public office, and all judges, still take the oath prescribed by the Constitution to support that Constitution.
It is citizen’s duty in citizenship to see to it that their representatives do indeed honor the oath of office. The Constitution is Citizens law for the governments of the U.S. to obey.
The Constitution is dead only when citizens fail to enforce it.

Sentinel: Flashback to the last election...the majority of the popluar vote went against george, then a judge declared the will of the people to be unconstitutional. I'm so glad you are on board.
Dollygal(cute name): I apologize for those in the 60s who said GOD IS DEAD (in capital letters). God, in fact, never lived or existed.....what a interesting ruse played on all of us. Would you please ask that extreme liberalwhohatesAmerica John Ashcroft to get off his violations of the Constitution with the Patriot Act, holding suspects without charges and communication, and all that. Man, that liberal Ashcroft is just too much.

Sentinel, you have made many excellent post but you are a way off course in bashing trashing the duty and “powers” of U.S. Citizenship. Repeating lies like “the Constitution is dead”, “your vote is worthless” and the “will of the People”.
The “will” of the People is a great lie. In America there is only one correct “will” of the People and that “will” is for the citizen they elect to public office to honor the oath of office. The People cannot “will” anything else because the oath of office is required by the Law (Constitution).
The Constitution is not dead; it is simply not enforced by the People because they believe such lies as you repeat. Citizens have only three powers available to use to enforce the Law (Constitution) on government. Those “powers” are; The Vote (for a candidate that will honor the oath of office, a vote for any other reason is a wasted vote), Jury Duty, and Arms.
The Constitution is the only thing standing between citizens and a tyrannical government. It is a very ignorant, bordering on stupidity, for any U.S. citizen to knock the Law (Constitution) that protects his freedom. Without the U.S constitution being enforced there is no freedom anywhere in the world. Constitutionally the fox (government) is not assigned the duty of guarding the hen house (citizens). The fox is constitutionally assigned the duty of protecting Citizens “playground” of freedom, the USA.

Just to set the record straight, "God is dead" started with a philosopher named Nietzsche back in the late 1800's. The sixties hippies weren't even clever enough to come up with that on their own.

Nietzche, the pioneer of nihilism, had some very interesting ideas, and I encourage you to read them. One of my favorite sayings is: Here's a thought to leave you with: Some say "God must love stupid people, he made so many of them" Perhaps it would be more correct to say "Man must love stupid Gods, he made so many of them"

Boy, is this thread interesting. Loaded with facts and thoughtful reasoning and logic.
I can't wait for the next (or is it first?) rational statement.

I must agree with Allan. The constitution is not dead, however, it is suspended as long as the sheeple of this country blindly go along with the corporate polit-bureau and the money cartel. They are the very reason the UCC came into existence back in the 1930s.
The question is how do we as citizens enforce the constitution? What everyone must understand, is that we each have 3 votes where government is concerned:
1) The vote at the polls, where we elect our officials to represent we the people.
2) The vote a citizen has when serving on a grand jury.
3) The vote a citizen has when voting on a petit jury.
Let's examine 2 and 3. While we may elect some money grubbing woman groping corporate "yes man" into office, if he/she enact a law that is against the constitution, as a juror, you have the right to judge "BOTH THE LAW AND FACTS OF A CASE". What a citizen can do as a juror, outweighs the councels, the judge, even the entire congress and the president. For the brief period you may spend as a juror, you are "above the law", as you have both "the right and DUTY" to judge both the law and the fact of the case.
If someone is charged with violating a law that should never be a law in the first place, your 1 vote can nullify the case. It only takes 1 single vote on a jury to either aquit or have a mistrial. If a law is judged adversely 3 or more times, it becomes null and void. If the legislators want to have such a law, they must re-write it.
This goes against what the judge may instruct you as a juror, but remember, as a juror, you are above the law and the judge. You have the right and duty to vote your concionce, and if the law violates the constitution, you must vote against it.
It is in this way, that we the people can truly take back our country, without so much as a single shot being fired. However, if the sheeple continue to just "go along with the status quo, then our constitution shall remain in a state of suspension. It shall remain this way, until the sheeple are awakened and become like Lions.
"Americans used to roar like lions for liberty, today they bleat like sheep for security".
"Those who would trade freedom for security deserve neither" Benjamin Franklin.

By the way, the Uniform Commercial Code is NOT a Federal law. Each state has the option of utilizing it as a uniform standard if their legislatures choose to.
