Dateline Airs Hour Of Bombast Trying to capitalize on the popularity of the fallacious book The DaVinci Code, NBC's Dateline Special "Secrets of the Code" devoted a whole hour to this book several nights ago. I sat there in amazement as these 'scholars' put forth absurb accusations, one after the other. Yet, not one of them had any basis in fact. >:(They spent so much time talking about the relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdaline. The book proposes that Mary was the greatest Apostle, Jesus' wife and mother of his daughter. Most of this is proven, according to Dan Brown, by clues he's found in Leonardo de Vinci's Last Supper painting. These 'clues' are so ridiculous as to not even be credible. Mostly it's comprised of angles forming letters that apparently give the author special insight into the painting. This Dateline was nothing but an hour of bombast and a constant flow of unsubstantiated claims. They assembled a bunch of 'scholars' who had no idea what they were talking about. For instance, one of the co-authors of the 1982 book Holy Blood, Holy Grail made the statement the simple facts are there are no facts. Well sir, is that a fact? What a statement of pure lack of intellect. I just get tired of seeing Christ dragged through the proverbial mud. There are people who's life mission is to disprove the Bible and Christ. However, the Scriptures CANNOT be broken. If they could, it would have happened under the great scrutiny they have endured over the past 2000 years. www.thenarrow.org/
