I believe being a conservative means, among other things, that reason always trumps TEXTfeelings.TEXT
Therefore I'm a little tired of the commentators who support Bush and other Republicans even when they act in a non-conservative way and pass legislation which undermines the core principles of conservativsim.
True the liberal bias is alive and well, but I am also against the kind of bias that says "Republicans are always right". We need to be clear and rational in all situations, even when it means criticizing our president and Republicans who act in a "liberal light " manner.

I totally agree. One example of this is the way the Republicans jumped onboard O'Reilly's bandwagon on the Ward Churchill thing. Now we're finding out there are plenty of other reasons to fire Churchill instead of some statements the God found offensive. BTW Greg, its [COMMAND]text[/COMMAND]. And TEXT isn't a command.

Well I guess I may be in agreement with O'Reilly (I never listen to him ) on this one even though I cannot stomach him, not because of his ideology but because of him.

It really amazes me that such a megalomaniacal, out-of-tough, poser could survive, let alone host his own TV show. Such lunacy is deserving of only a leadership position in the Democratic Party.

Your right on. O'Reilly is such a self- serving/self-promoting character that I find myself cringing when I listen to him briefly and then turn the dial. His posing gets in the way of any valid points he makes. Enough with the "no spin" jive.
