Does the media believe the U.S. was behind 9/11?

Have you noticed how many references there are to Bush and/or the U.S. government being behind the 9/11 attacks in popular culture? Films, books, television shows, video games, etc. Whatever one's opinion - it's hard not to notice that this idea has made it into our collective unconscious.

I am collecting examples of this, can anyone think of any?

Here's one for your list: French Atari is putting out a computer game called “Act of War”. The plot has the oligarchs of the world fighting over oil, the U.S. wins, terrorists attack and kidnap Senators and stuff. Your player is in the U.S. army – the aim is to fight the terrorists off. Towards the end of the game it’s revealed that the U.S. government is behind the terrorists.

Leave it to the French.

It is not only the liberal media but what some might call the anit-government/patriot media which is mostly found on shortwave radio, which has blatantly stated that the 9-11 attacks were orchewstrated by the government in an effort to bring about a police state here in the US and usher in a New World Order styled one world government.

It is quite interesting to listen to for at least the entertainment factor.

Also I believe we need folks who question the government. They are the gadflies that keep the government properly in its role as defenders of our God given rights.

Do Conservatives believe that Bush was warned in several ways about an impending attack and did nothing about it? It occurred on his watch, and he is responsible for not defending it.

What would you guys be saying if the real, popular-vote elected President Gore had been at the helm?

I can't say the Elite Liberal Media believes the Right was behind 9/11 but, it sure does figure into their plans of a completely Liberal America. There are probably many who do believe as Rosie O'Donnell but, they are kooks!

I wonder why the American people havent't pushed for a further inquiry. I mean, for the government to be behind 9/11, is a serious accusation that needs attention. Many people have died, and innocence has suffered. The world has been shown 1 view, yet the people haven't pushed for the other.

We've had further inquiry in the 9-11 commission. The reason there hasn't been more is because only whack jobs are "truthers."
