Gun Men In Iraq

Just thought I'd pass along a comment made on the top of the hour news report on KPFK, our NPR station here in LA...

Keep in mind, this is presented as NEWS, not as commentary.

"George W. Bush's Defense Department is planning to send more GUN MEN to replace those currently on the ground in Irag..." (Yes, they said "gun men" not "military." )

This station still refuses to refer to GWB as President Bush, and continues to state as a fact, not as an opinion, that he was fraudulently appointed by the Supreme Court.

Your tax dollars at work.

liberal bias on liberal stations? MY GOD next youll be telling us about conservative bias on conservative stations. Its a conspiracy me tells ya.

Tell me more about those tax supported "conservative" stations. I wasn't aware that they existed.

Further, while I have no objection to LIBERAL stations taking a LIBERAL position in their commentary and analysis, I do object to their identifying their straight news product as unbiased and objective.

If you listen to conservative radio, you'll find that the straight news is just that, straight and unbiased...and it's not paid for by my taxes.
