Here is a little history lesson for all the Liberals who scream “racism” at every drop of the hat:
In 1996, when Bill Clinton was running for his second term, there was a strong belief that Colin Powell would run as the Republican nominee. Polls at the time show Powell beating Clinton hands down. When Powell spoke at the GOP Convention in ’96 he received loud cheers. How do I know? I WAS THERE! Yep, that’s right. We liked him and we wanted him to run. Sadly, he chose not to run, and we ended up with Bob Dole who just didn’t have what it took to beat Clinton.
So much for racism. Did we Republicans like Colin Powell and want him to run because we hate blacks? LOL! What an asinine thought. The Liberal media recently said during Obama’s campaign that America still wasn’t really ready for a black president. That is also so much BS, because as I said, the polls back in 1996 showed Colin Powell beating Clinton hands down in a hypothetical match-up.
We like Powell. We like Condi Rice. We LOVE Alan West and Herman Cain and Clarence Thomas, and on and on and on. We don’t hate Obama because he’s black, we despise him because he is the worst president ever and is destroying the fabric of this nation on every level, fiscal, social, and security.

....We don’t hate Obama because he’s black, we despise him because he is the worst president ever and is destroying the fabric of this nation on every level, fiscal, social, and security. Not all people who hate this administration are racists, that isn't the point. The question I have is list how Obama is destroying the fabric of this nation on each level so we can see if you are just BS or can back up your claim? Provide supporting links as well.

Came across this author reading 'Twilight of Democracy' by Anne Applebaum, an excellent read which covers Europe and Brexit among other topics. Authoritarians, like Trump, appeal to the weak who see evil around every corner. MAGA was just a cry for a past that never existed, if you looked at it closely you'd wonder at its appeal. It is nostalgia for an imaginary nirvana. Author below covers that topic too: Nostalgia for an imaginary past. "Democracy is in decline. Over half of the world's population now lives under some form of authoritarian rule. Wherever democracy deteriorates, so does support for transparency and accountability. Disinformation about current events thrives, as do versions of history that cover up authoritarian crimes." lucid.substack.com/p/welcome-to-lucid'Strongmen Mussolini to the Present' 'What modern authoritarian leaders have in common (and how they can be stopped).'wwnorton.com/books/9781324001546Ruth Ben-Ghiat: 'Any society can be susceptible to strongman figures if it's the right time.' stockholmcf.org/ruth-ben-ghiat-any-society-can-be-susceptible-to-strongman-figures-if-its-the-right-time/
