I'm tired of everyone complaining (and I do mean everyone) about the U.S. government. It's time for everyone to complain to the people that can do something about it - Your U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives. There is a website ( www.theVilagePortal.com ) that lists all the U.S. Senators and the U.S. Representatives and thier websites ( yes, they all have websites ). If everyone sent a message to their congressmen on how they feel about the current issues they WILL pay attention to us. They know we have the power to elect someone to replace them.Don't just sit there. Become a member of the "vocal minority". Tell your congressmen how You want them to vote. Most issues before congress are not simple right or wrong decisions. You have to let them know how You want them to vote. So, go to www.theVillagePortal.com find you Senators And Representatives and start telling them how they should vote. If you don't You have no one to complain to but Yourself. p.s. pass this message on to everyone you know. The more people that send messages to their Representatives the better chance we have at them getting it right. UncleSam

I agree with you in principle, but every time a big issue comes up in congress, we have the cable news networks reporting that the email boxes of reps. and senator’s crash and the office phones are overloaded. They could be telling the truth, so complain to and about the U.S. government if you have a valid argument. www.pitchedbattle.com/

I've often wondered - in this vein - why anti-abortion activists don't take their anger and issues to the Congress. Abortion is legal, sanctioned both by the Supreme Court and the Congress. Why threaten, disrupt, scare, and kill people who are doing something permitted under existing law? If you object, object to the law and the people who control it.
