First let me say I only caught the headlines not the details. I hear President Obama plans to protect the internet from attacks.
Two thoughts come to mind.
1. More government slush funds. Remember we already have a "Department of Homeland Security"
2. I watched and interview with Obama in which he said "We have to do a better job of information management." The context was regarding a scandal but I don't remember which. To me that translates "We have to control what the public knows." The internet is the last place we have for freedom of political speech.
