HOW ARE WE SCREWED?

• The rights of business owners:
  

  • try refusing to hire someone because they are the kind of person you want to associate with.
    
  • try being a restaurant owner in places like NYC and have a cigarette.
    
  • try making more than a mere $250,000.00 and see how hard the taxes get hit on YOUR income.
    

  
  
• the right to earn what you deserve & to deserve what you earn. Everything is cockeyed - down to the brainless idea that increasing minimum wage can help poor people. NO ONE has figured it out yet? The MIDDLE CLASS was lost on minimum wage increases. when minimum wage was $2.00 an hour and middle class was $6.00 an hour - things were good. As wages went up for the bottom - the middle was left the same. $6.00 is now basically minimum wage and there went the middle class!
  
• Corporal punishment for children (a good spanking) was made illegal and now they want to say these kids have ADD or hyperactivity - so now they drug them - and kids get depressed on antidepressants so they flip out and shoot up schools. ... or parents like the couple pre - teen kids who killed (one killed his dad & neighbor and one killed his pregnant step mom)
  
• Moral Value's like the state of Washington which LEGALLY allows bestiality so long as the animal likes it.
  
• Religious Freedom where it's allowed to harass people with different cultural value's because their women are in Burka's and they STILL adhere to the values that EVEN THE BIBLE teaches
  
• Global Warming that gets billions spent on promoting the problem - spend it on a fix morons! WHAT HAPPENED to the coming ICE AGE that was the buzz chat 30 years ago? What is it?? Hot or Cold?

Look at our politics today - time to kiss freedom good by!

American's have become clueless flies heading to the biggest pile of crap they can find.

We went from a friggin LIBERAL little Bush to an extreme Liberal Obama - from BAD to WORSE!

What is so sad is that people have yet to figure out a couple important facts:

• the Berlin wall came down because we were indoctrinated into government control enough to be able to assimilate into a socialist life style.
  
• it is STILL spelled Justice - no matter how bad some people what it spelled Just Us.

What you seem to be arguing for is discrimination, breaking the law, and not paying your fair share towards the infrastructure that supports you? Freedom then for you is personal freedom and laws do not matter?

The only reply I have to such roiling, self-pitying nonsense is this:

The history of the US is one of Liberals and Progressives dragging Conservatives kicking and screaming into a better, more prosperous, safer, and healthier world. Sounds like you would rather live in that other, past world.

The 'state of the union' was always intended to operate just as our founding, legal document says in it first paragraph:

We the People (get it? the people ... us) in order to form a more perfect Union (get it? a Union ...a cooperative collaberation of desired benefit), promote the general Welfare(get that? ... the general (not individual [although individuals will benefit] Welfare --- ooooooh, what a bad, bad word).

Conservatives simply have a problem with the concept of We the People deciding that we want to establish rules to promote the general Welfare.
If you guys had been in charge at key moments in the 20th century, you would have the dark gray privilege of living in that past you so wish for.
