After the republicans in the senate have created anew the great depression II let's hope voters see them for what they are.

A couple of questions for you Medican...
What have Senate Republicans done to create this mythical great depression you speak of?
Secondly, if this great depression you speak of is the result of Senate malfeasance, shouldn't the blame rest with the party that controls the Senate?
Democrats have controlled both Houses of Congress for two years now...do they not share any of the blame?

Better Check with you wording I would say you are a SOCIALIST You may be a child and still know this comeback, 'sticks and stones may break bones but names will never hurt me.' LOL Seems name calling is the best you can do, prove some substantive by telling us how these past eight years under Bush have lead us to the promised land. Good luck on trying.

Medican,
I've been reading your posts on this website for almost four years now. You hated Bush back when the economy was kicking butt and the DOW was pushing 14,000.
Your mindless rants are based less in the reality of the day and more in your blind political ideology of big government socialism.
You are a classic malcontent

TNWrongly, no, you have been interpreting the world through a looking glass that is so narrow the idiocy of the past eight years appears OK. Thankfully the majority of the American people have finally figured it out. You may never do that.

Well then, if by electing Barack Obama you think that somehow your life's circumstances are going to magically change for the better, that the living Mesiah is going to bless you with peace and prosperity, you sir, have set yourself up for a big disappointment.
You have a misguided perspective about through which your happiness comes. You have much more power over your own life and well being than anyone else does, and your bitching and griping about people who have more than you won't do a damn thing to make your life better. You need to stop being so bitter, unhappy, and envious and vindictive toward people who have more than you. They are not your problem, and Obama isn't the solution.
Until you realize that you, Medican, are the master of your being, you will always be disappointed by the promises politicians make. You need to make some peace with yourself and learn to like yourself instead of always having such a "woe is me" attitude.

This isn't about me and while I often use the first person, that is just a rhetorical use. I have already made it. I happen to have the luck and abilities to be a bit free of economic or social worries: wife still turns me on and kids are happily married and doing well. My debate is with what I see, I should be a conservative based on the slogans.
I don't expect miracles from Obama, I really feel one of the hardest part of all this is expectations and lifestyles that are sustainable in a country where people want and think they deserve everything. But there is no reason in a country this size and with these resources that good work should not be available, good education, and freedom from the worry a small illness is going to send you out on the street. And also that our elderly are taken care of as well as our youth. No biggee stuff just sensible good stuff.
