GOD is PRO CHOICE

Think about it, isn't salvation the ONLY way to ETERNAL LIFE?
Who do you know who has been born again that was FORCED to choose Christ and GOD's precepts? NO ONE! Christ forces NO ONE to choose life! He presents them with the invitation is all because Christ is perfect.......not codependent. HE knows he will achieve far more with the willing eh? One simply cannot defeat the powers of darkness with an unwilling army can he?

In the bible there are several examples of those whom GOD chose to SERVE HIM, GOD is creator and owner of the universe and all of immortality, it's his perogative as to who serves him and how. But NOWHERE can I find an example of any individual forced to FOLLOW HIM. Everyone is given FREE CHOICE as to whether they live or perish, to sin or live the good life of redemption through salvation and repentance, THAT is left a choice.

Since my GOD, Jesus Christ is Pro-choice, I must take that stand if I choose to be Christian, as well.

Don't confuse my being pro-choice with being PRO-ABORTION. I am NOT PRO-Abortion....we are less than animals if we kill our own, but aren't we less than animals with out redemption too?

I would that all were chaste till ordained marriage, and use abstainance to give greater substance to the act of making love. But since I am a realist, I understand that today's preventive medicine is another example of GOD's abundant grace. And would remind anyone if they cannot abstain, (which most of us cannot) at least PREVENT. GOD said go and be fruitful, but what fruit do we bear if we propagate so rapidly we cannot sustain those we bring to this life? GOD said do not murder. But to GOD, ALL sin is punishable by death. Sin is SIN. A liar or one who shames their parents risks their life just as surely as does the murderer and the adulterer....SIN IS SIN to GOD, be it in fact or in mind. WE ALL fall short sooner or later. But through Christ we can find pardon if we are willing to REPENT.

Abortion is at least as old a remedy as WAR. No woman wants to bear the children of her enemies, or even the children of a man she does not love. Still many have and have loved her children, yet others would NOT, and have risked their very lives to end an unwanted pregnancy. Many of these have died both physically and spiritually due to this instictual desperation too.

History has shown how unloved the "bastard-child" has been by man. Such has shown the hard heartedness of mankind. History has also shown the hardness of mankind toward women who would keep an "unwanted" child, too...Regardless of how the woman came to become pregnant, she has ALWAYS been regarded as a lowlife and KEPT in that position. Even today in most parts of the world.

I am pro-choice because I a sinner who owes all to my Lord Jesus, am willing to repent... Regardless of how appauled I might be at the slaying of the pure and helpless, (who would, never having the chance at life or sinning would stand to reason return to GOD) I will not sentence another to possibly lose their life before she has the chance to repent (takes prayer, takes work, repentence does) That is murder just as sure as her taking her unborn child's life. Such a person needs my prayer, and my help and guidance if they'll ask. NOT my condemnation, not my judgement on how they should conduct their life. Christ never pushed his will upon another, and I want to follow HIM.

It's wonderful knowing GOD.....means I don't have to try to be. Christ said; "those who would harm these little ones shall answer to me"......and that's how I would leave it. The bible advises us, if our Brother (or sister) errs, we should instruct them......I just have (and we should confine ourselves to instructing the flock, and testifying to the sinners, not the other way around).

Paul (a redeemed murderer btw)instructed us: Stay separate from worldly things", and there is nothing more worldly than THIS oh, so, POLITICAL topic. Christ warned us the deceiver shall come in the appearance of a guiding light...Beware and pray vigilently.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, the results were separation from God, spiritual death, and physical death.

The 'physical death' aspect of their disobedience was not immediately apparent to Adam and Eve, since they did not drop dead on the spot.

When a human comes into this world, he or she is born - given physical life; this is how God intended for it to work. (God instructed his creation, including humanity, to be fruitful and multiply.)

Through-out the Scriptures, God made it clear that taking of human life via murder was a sin, no matter how you want to spin it, excuse it, or no matter how sorry you feel for women who've gotten one, alaskansheilah.

Whether or not a person chooses Jesus as Lord and Savior, and regardless of the fact that God permits people to choose against Jesus, does not mean that God excuses abortion or looks upon it favorably, nor does God tell us we are to look upon murder (abortion) favorably.

Just because God gives us free will does not mean that God approves of, likes, enjoy, or agrees with all of our choices.

I do not have to do so, because you confused the two issues yourself.

You (amazingly) spent much of your post attempting to theologically justify abortion.

You are creeping me out big time, because you're trying to justify an action (abortion, which = murder) that the Bible clearly condemns.

There's a Bible verse which states, "Woe unto those who call good evil and evil good." That verse seems to apply to you here.

Who cares how old the practice of abortion is? Stealing has been going on for thousands of years, but that does not mean that stealing is moral or right.

It all comes down to what the woman wants, what is convenient for the woman. It's about women being selfish, and the Bible tells us that being selfish is wrong.

I kind of feel a little sympathy for women who have had abortions, but that does not mean that I can, or should, excuse the abortion itself - nor would God want me to.

The Bible does not say that judging others (their behavior or motives) is always wrong.

The Bible actually calls on Christians to make moral judgments at times and in regards to certain people.

The Bible says that judging is warranted in some cases.

Too often, (Non-Christians especially) take the words of Jesus out of context ('judge not lest ye be judged'). Jesus was talking about not being a hypocrite when judging; Jesus was not saying that judging others is always wrong.

The Bible instructs us to be fair and loving when judging, not that it's always wrong for us to do so.

There were times in the Bible were God got angry with His people when they refused to judge the sin in their community.

In the Old Testament in particular, there were accounts of people who were sinning, others around them knew they were sinning, did not hold them accountable and make them stop sinning, so God punished everyone involved (or everyone was impacted by the judgments on the unrepentant sinful).

God calls for believers 'to be in the world, not of it.'

God expects us to be involved with our society, our nation, and our political system to stand up for what is right.

Christians are not supposed to live as hermits bowing out of society and letting evil and immorality run rampant.

Being a Christian is not simply being a peaceful, passive doormat and watching life go by.

If you, a Christian, are walking down the street, and see a granny lady get mugged, God expects you to help her in some way (say, get on the phone and call the police, for example).

Jesus told the story of the good Samaritan: a man who stopped to help a wounded man who was lying on the road, bloodied and beaten.

Your strange take on Christian teaching would have people walk by the wounded, abused man on the road in that story without stopping to render help, because they're not supposed to get involved.

Christians are told by Jesus Christ to be the "light of the world" and to be "the salt."

Jesus expected His followers to make an impact in whatever society they lived in. To not do so would be to disobey His teachings.

Jesus did not tell us to keep our Christianity a secret and live it out in private.

Jesus said if you are truly living for Him and following His teachings that you would be hated and despised by other people - so other people have to know you're a Christian, have to see you live it out, and talk about it.

Following Jesus just might entail speaking up on unpopular topics, such as telling the world that God considers abortion murder.

You seem to be advocating hiding your Christianity, or going through life emulating Non-Christians, so as not to offend them or have them get angry at you.

God knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb. If you are going to bring God into the equation take His words to heart and understand the most weak and helpless among us are those we should be fighting for the most.
