I think it's great the way the Democrats are screaming shrill whines of terror about it, and making all kinds of sexist remarks in the process.

She is a good campaigner and speaker, the smile is endearing as out of her mouth comes nothing but negatives and little substance. I am hoping the voters pay attention to the issues this time, as 4 more years of failed republican politics is more than we can take. I am hopeful as many of the women I have spoken to or have seen on local TV are pro choice, for women and want to know the issues not the rhetoric. Wants creationism taught in schools Suported bridge to nowhere Outlaw abortion even in rape cases Ignores the science of global warming www.adn.com/sarahpalin/story/511471.htmlBridge To Nowhere "But it is the federally funded Bridge to Nowhere in Ketchikan that seems destined to make or break Palin's national reputation as a cost-cutting conservative."

Perspective from across the pond. Democrats and their Lefty media backers had been sneering that Palin is a small-town nobody, a hick from Alaska put into a job way beyond an inexperienced woman. Believe me, you will not be hearing that again. Full of self-assurance and aggression, super Sarah popped Barack’s balloon big-time. From the moment she walked on stage in this cavernous bear pit, smart in cream jacket, trim black skirt and black heels, she proved that McCain knew exactly what he was doing when he picked her as running mate. The first thought was that here was America’s youthful Maggie Thatcher, minus the swinging handbag. Hair piled into a slight beehive — more Sarah White House than Amy Winehouse — she blinked and smiled behind her geeky specs as the vast crowd went ballistic. She is popular with voters for the very reason America’s snooty political establishment despises her: She isn’t one of the Washington gang. She’s a mum of five from icy Alaska with a sledge-load of problems behind her own front door that workaday Americans can relate to. A child with special needs. A daughter of 17 pregnant. A constant juggle between family and career. Compared to the career politicians dominating both parties here she seemed fresh, natural — one of us and not one of them. She revelled in being an outsider. Advertisement She spoke to America as one working mum to another. She cracked good jokes. Showing steel beneath her magnolia jacket, she slaughtered Obama’s lack of experience, his vanity, his emptiness beneath the windy waffle. It was the most powerful demolition of the Democrat hero I have heard in two weeks on the US election trail. The wagons have been drawn up and the Republicans are ready for battle. The McCain-Palin ticket now looks in exciting shape. A war hero and a heroic mum. Experience and optimism. And when McCain joined the Palin gang — babies and boyfriends and all — on stage after her speech, there was a sense of cheeky fun absent from Obama’s solemn coronation. How the Democrats must be regretting Hillary isn’t running with Obama. Barack’s sidekick, Joe Biden, looks a dull old dog compared with the ball of fire that is Palin. And consider this: If Obama loses, Hillary Clinton will run for the Democrats in 2012. Opposing her is sure to be Sarah Palin. That would guarantee America its first woman President. And my fistful of dollars, having seen both in action here, would be on Palin. Most of all, though, the Palin sensation makes our own Westminster politics look as grey and dull as the leaden September skies. It’s dire. We need a moose loose in our Hoose. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/columnists/fergus_shanahan/article1647092.ece

And the only problem with the DNC Platform, is sometimes you just don't know Who to surrender to? Maybe You could continue where Clinton left off in downsizing the Military? Such an act would surely touch the heart of dictators all through the world. The planet is a totally safe place right? When do the DNC Osama Prayer rugs go on sale, or are ya just raise our taxes to pay for free distribution? Make them reversible, Donate to the charity of your choice, "DNC", "Al-Jezeera", "Taliban", "Al-Quada", or "PMS NBC" on one side, and a picture of Osama and Obama shaking hands on the other side.

I hope that you are twelve as that made no sense at all. The first WTC attack happened right after C got in office. Notice Clinton was the better man and didn't blame Reagan/Bush for their poor work combating terrorism. Reagan ran from Beirut after one attack, he hardly stands for the good fight. Palin Calls for a Halt to Offshore Fish Farm Proposal by the Federal Government Printer Friendly FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE No. 08-155 Palin Calls for a Halt to Offshore Fish Farm Proposal September 12, 2008, Anchorage, Alaska – Governor Sarah Palin today expressed her administration’s objections to elements of the federal government’s proposal to allow decommissioned oil and gas platforms in federal waters to be used for fish farming and other forms of aquaculture. “Alaska’s natural wild fisheries have been well managed on a sustainable basis for years, and are critically important to our state’s economy, especially in our coastal communities,” said Palin. “Disease, parasites, and escapement of non-native stocks from fish farms are just some elements of the threat that aquaculture can pose to wild fish stocks.” Governor Palin’s comments came in response to a Minerals Management Service (MMS) proposal that would allow offshore oil and gas platforms to be utilized for aquaculture. The Governor outlined several specific concerns, including: • Marketplace confusion about Alaska’s healthy, wild seafood resulting in lost fisheries value to the state; • Disease and parasite transmission; • Escapes/releases of farmed fish possibly leading to colonization by non-native fish species and genetic impacts on native species; and • Environmental effects. The state of Alaska has consistently requested that authorization of offshore aquaculture be considered only after establishing comprehensive biological and socio-economic baselines that will allow for a meaningful evaluation of its effects. The proposed rule does not include such provisions. In a letter to Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne, Governor Palin requested that offshore aquaculture be removed from a list of authorized alternate rights-of-use for decommissioned platforms. In a separate letter, Governor Palin asked that the MMS schedule of public hearings in coastal states on the proposed rule be expanded to include public hearings in Alaska, where the potential for expansion of oil and gas development activity is great. In addition to concerns about potential impacts of offshore aquaculture, Governor Palin objected to MMS’ regulatory authorization of offshore aquaculture when Congress is considering two bills authorizing such activity. “This issue is of such importance to our coastal economy and environment that it deserves a thorough and comprehensive review by Congress and should not be authorized through regulation by an agency whose primary expertise is energy, not management of marine resources,” said Palin. If Secretary Kempthorne were to move forward with a proposed rule change allowing aquaculture activities in offshore federal waters, Governor Palin urged him to prohibit farming of certain species such as salmon, halibut and black cod. She further asked the secretary to allow each individual state the ability to decide for itself whether aquaculture should occur in federal waters off its shores. www.gov.state.ak.us/news.php?id=1450
