After the radicalism of Cheney/Bush, an Obama/Biden presidency will be one that all Americans can feel part of again and not just the corporations and the wealthy. Instead of robbing from the poor to give to corporations and to off sourcing America, an Obama presidency will work to bring the American middle class back, so everyone can feel they have a piece of the pie and the American dream still works. The Empiricist Strikes Back by Cass R. Sunstein Obama's pragmatism explained. "These objections miss the mark. Obama has not betrayed anyone. The real problem lies in the assumption, still widespread on both the left and the right, that Obama is a doctrinaire liberal whose positions can be deduced simply by asking what the left thinks. Of course Obama is a progressive. From health care to assistance for low-income families to education to environmental protection, he emphasizes that Americans have duties to one another, and that government should be taking active steps to provide equal opportunity and to help those who need help. But, by nature, he is also an independent thinker, and he listens to all sides. One of his most distinctive features is that he is a minimalist, not in the sense that he always favors small steps (he doesn't), but because he prefers solutions that can be accepted by people with a wide variety of theoretical inclinations."www.tnr.com/politics/story.html?id=864f5c8e-e036-473f-8d36-cd09e5ad54f9

Sorry Midcan5, I just can't get past my Impression of Obama. I guess when one agrees with His Platform, one is Privileged with Free Speech. We are All free to Agree with Him. That Isn't enough for me. When measuring the Value of a Person, there is much said for how that person handles Adversity, Disagreement, and Dissension. Example of Obama reaching out, Courtesy of Drudge Report. www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/08/obama_campaign_confronts_wgn_r.htmlObama by no means, listens to all sides, Midcan5. I'll choose Individual Liberty and Inalienable Right Every Time over Socialist Totalitarianism.
