Story Behind John Kerry's "Heroism"

I've been seeing various draft-dodging liberals gloating over the fact that they actually discovered one of the few democrat vetrens on the news lately and tagging the distinguished title of "war hero" on John Kerry. I'm just wondering if anyone has any info on the background of Kerry's medals. I know that for a fact that Officers go through medals like democrats go through underage girls, it's almost required an Officer has a silver star. So before we concede the point that Kerry is a war hero, I'd like to see why he recieved those medals.

Interesting isn't it? They claimed that Vietnam service record was not an important issue a decade ago. He got a Purple Heart for minimal injuries, pictures of which are available on the net.

Despite the fact that I have suffered more serious injuries cleaning my house, I have to say that I do respect him for his service. It's his treasonous activities once back at home would prevent me from supporting him for POTUS.

What's more interesting is that Jane Fonda is claiming that Kerry is a WAR HERO!

Imagine that. Hanoi Jane is praising a military man's war record in Viet Nam!

Wonder what Tom Hayden has to say about that tidbit of hypocrisy?

Besides purple heart, didn't he also receive the silver star for bravery. Story I heard was him and some guys were on patrol, Kerry went off alone to take a crap. The guys he was with heard some gun shots and kerry claimed he killed some persons.

Noone certified the kills tho.
