The ground rules are few but strict. ;D
This board is made for ranting but we try to do it constructivly.
Any member is welcome.
We have decided to require membership in hopes that this will encourage only serious and productive discussion.
Thus, we reserve the right to delete posts or to ban folks that are "hit and run."
In other words, if you are not here for a serious debate; go away, you are not welcome . . . plain and simple.
This DOES NOT mean that if you have conflicting and/or liberal views that your posts are not welcome or encouraged. We welcome a good, CLEAN debate from those willing to stick it out and provide facts.
Registration is free and we will not sell your address or send you spam. Registering is handy for a few reasons including the fact that it helps the board to tell you if their are posts you haven't read after you log in.
You must register as a member to participate.
Sorry for the pop-unders (I hate 'em too), it's the price we have to pay for this service. If you leave the first one up, others usually won't appear; but if you close them, they keep trying each time you switch pages.
It is okay if you mention your own website in a post as long as it is a relevant part of the discussion. You can even make announcements about your site if you participate in board discussions pretty regularly. Posts that are nothing but an advertisement by folks who do not participate will be deleted.
Language: a few "mild" expletives are fine, we are after all ranting. The board is set up to edit out the more "severe" language. The filters get weird sometimes so just let us know if there is a problem and we will continue to fine tune them.
Outright vulgarity, sexual or otherwise, will not be tolerated.
Malicious name calling, racial slurs and the promotion of hate or crimes will not be tolerated. The discussion of marijuana doesn't count under the "crime"rule since its legalization is good topic for debate.
If you can't spell well, it's okay, I can't either. Therefore anyone making fun of another visitor's spelling will be mauled.
