I was thinking about these migrants Texas and Florida are sending to sanctuary cities. Imagine for a moment it is you, a person fleeing poverty and crime wanting a new life. What do you do, what do you think. My grandparents came from Germany and Ireland during the times when immigrants were welcome. We've lost that openness and today the topic has created in politics a leaning towards authoritarianism. You see it in our politics and the decisiveness today.
