What in the world was that all about? But I'll tell you why it matters what X is equal to. Ever heard of the pythagorean theorem, the law of conservation of energy, the concept of "pi", the first law of thermodynamics, the integration of a polynomial, third order differential equations, etc., etc., etc. The people who designed the car you drive know what X equals. The people who designed the air conditioner you so love in August know what X equals. The engineers who refined jet propulsion know what X equals. I could go on, but damn, I'm just so much more intrigued by why people shake their legs when they sit in a chair. After that great mystery is solved, I'd like to know why monkeys grind their teeth. What a great contribution to human advancement that would be.

Monkeys grind their teeth? No kidding? Wow. Do they shake their legs while sitting and grinding their teeth?

Some people think way too much.
