I got a bootleg of Stevie and Carlos playing Traffic Jam from 1979(sorry for the typo). I got it off Morpheus, a file sharing client (don't tell anyone!!!). A guy I used to play with when I first started, named Rocco Calipari (formerly of Howard & The White Boys anyone?) used to played with Jimmy. I never met him but have always been a big fan. I did meet Leo Kottke a few times though!!! The album with Stevie and Jimmy you're thinking of BOLO is Family Style. I'm still in search of the elusive SRV Redhouse cut, I know it has to be out there somewhere. If anyone has any leads to the holy grail I'd appreciate it.  ;D Groucho, I love you more with every post.  ;D |

I didn't now they were still around. I thought the last of them died off 2003.
I know there ws a group in Atlanta that met. I don't think they still do.
None here in Bama that I know of.
I've never been to one.
