This is my favorite smoke...that along with a little Jack Daniels or a Sloe Gin Fizz, or even a Strawberry Daquari Wine Cooler.... Look at that oily sheen on that wrapper....hhmmm, and I am all out! Does that Cortez site have an English page? I couldn't find anything in English.... I haven't come across one yet - I fudge my way through with Babblefish....... Sweet looking stogie, BTW - are you by chance a humidor owner? ;D

I deleted a few posts in here. Keep the politics and the insults out of the bar. It was not even political, just rude. Consider yourself tossed out and roughed up by a great big bouncer named Manny. Now go home and sleep it off before you're barred for good!

How else do you keep the stogies fresh and aged? We own three three-hundred cigar humidors, plus a refrigidor. Money has been tight this year, so no, they are not filled to capacity yet, but hopefully next year we can get to keeping a good stock up. My husband has an Opus X that is aging real nice! One of these days, if he is not careful, no matter how much I don't like the Opus X, he is going to lose it! ;D We used to snipe each other from a cigar board. Ya know, send smokes back and forth..they kind you like/don't like and get some back in return, but it got expensive. Okay, how on earth did you guys manage to turn a chat about cigars into politics? I am new here, and even I know better than to bring that stuff into this place!

I am new here, and even I know better than to bring that stuff into this place! I'm truly humbled, Lisa. I make do with a tiny home-built job that can just comfortably house one box of panatellas; anything larger is "Ziplock-Frigidaired!" Did your hubby ever "gift" you with Swisher Sweets? , while you were making your sendings? (True confession - SS's were my introduction to cigars, when I was a lad; Havanna Specials, they AIN'T!!! ;D) Don't mind the trolls around here; I'm reasonably new myself, but the Management is on top of things - and there is also plenty of room for self-defense, provided you think before you post......... Finally, I'm a great one for experimenting in pursuit of THE perfectly aged / seasoned cigar; my current idea is placing a square of brandy-doused cheescloth just above the aspirator....... and the results so far have been VERY positive!!

No SSs Groucho, but I do have a funny story...I am kinda niave and like to try different things. I stopped in a Smoke Shop, thinking that they sold cigars along with cigs...yeah right. Anyway, I saw a box of Garcia y Vegas. WOW! I can get 30 cigars for $15.00!!! I went home excited with my new find, eager to try one out! YUCK!!! I guess you can call me a cigar snob. Only hand rolled for me. I hate flavored cigars, no matter who makes them. PM me your snail mail address, and I will see what can be "gifted" to you. Thanks for the heads up on the trolls. Reading some of these, I see that the mods are indeed on top of things, as I am obviously missing something when I read some of the posts. ;D Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Oh Groucho, and in the spirit if Chrismas and promoting the enjoyment of cigars in a country that believes smoking anything other than pot is evil, I know some inexpensive humidors that will do in a pinch. If you don't mind exchanging gifts. I hope that is not to forward. Do you want some links to sites that tell you how to build your own humidors?

Well ain't that a HILLARY!!! ;D Send the links - I'll use all the help I can get, in my ongoing quest against the system - which is just DRIPPING with irony, as far as tobacco haters go........ You remember the recent liability "settlement" against RJR Tobacco - the multi-million (near billion) dollar one that elated the anti-tobacco lobby? "We really stuck it to them GOOD, this time!!" The entire Left Wing was in orbit, having "punished" the Evil-Doers. What they failed to realize is that RJR Tobacco was just a small cog in a much larger machine - as in RJR - NABISCO FOODS!!! The cost of their "victory" was passed right back down where it came from - RJR Tobacco didn't even flinch as they owned up to their "debt." Now you know why food is more expensive - us "pariahs" had to be taught a lesson, for our own good........... And they wind up just spreading the misery around - classic liberalism at it's finest!! ;D But the SUPREME irony of the left-wing tobacco "victory" is the fact that the REAL payout was borne by far more non-tobacco users, than users!!! Kinda reminds us of recent events, no? ;D
