Lets face it -- the only people who really care about stolen cars are the poor blokes who just had their wheels stolen and the legions of car owners paying inflated prices for theft insurance because the fat cats in the insurance companies just past the multi-billion dollar cost of auto theft on to the consumer. The police, God bless 'em, are usually overstretched and focused on bigger game. The only way they find stolen cars is if they accidentally crash into them. Finally some people are doing something really constructive to combat this social plague (over 1.3 million cars are stolen in the USA every year). People are looking out for stolen cars and letting the police know exactly where they are. Car owners whose cars have been stolen are now able to blast email and wireless alerts out to their fellow citizens and seek their assistance in getting their ride back. check it out at www.StolenCarReports.com
