I'd personally rather have no socialist presence at all. Supposing the US split into two areas--socialist and capitalist, with no unified taxation or required commerce. Which do you honestly think would be more successful? I think the socialist half would be more succesful. Without taxation, the other half would have no military and no public roads!

"Another socialist that just thinks no one has done it right, yet."
And your point is?

Point is, the US has less socialism and higher standards of living even among the "poor." No reason to change. I have no desire to live in some dirty, European city with half of my present living space. There is a reason more of them want to come here.
Rorremalku- There was nothing in Ted's post to suggest there would be NO taxation in the capitalist part of his scenario.

On one hand you say that I am a "socialist that just thinks no one has done it right, yet" therefore implying I am not an advocate of any current 'socialist' society. (Which happens to be the case). On the other hand you talk about the US having 'less socialism' than europe, therefore implying I AM an advocate of european socialism. Are you OK MO? You seem to be getting all muddled up. Maybe you missed the post where I informed you about socialism being an ethic not a system. BTW, have you ever been to Europe? Where is your evidence of the US having higher standards of living 'even among the poor'? and where on earth did you get the impression that european cities are 'dirty'? I agree you might have less living space. But thats probebly down to our incompetent commie geographers. Why couldnt they have designed a continent with more land space eh?

I moderate three conservative forums. I can't tell one pompous, socialist, assbag from the next, in all honesty. And I don't think "ethics" and "socialism" belong in the same sentence. You haven't "informed" me about anything.

Why do you never answer questions or read what I write? All you do is repeat yourself, over and over.
PLEASE just respond to the points I make and questions I ask.

So you'ver never been to Europe, have no source for your information that the US has higher standards of living than Europe an cleaner cities. Fair enough.
Anyone passing through reading this thread doesn't have to be a genius to realise that you avoid answering questions you can't.
But then what would I know? I'm just a 'pompous assbag'.

I doubt it. Most people who go to message boards understand how gauche it is to ask personal questions about individual members. My travel history is none of your business.
Liberals/ socialists just fish for information so they know if my pockets are worthy of picking.

No, they just give themselves more accolades and are far more arrogant. They know the price of everything and the value of nothing........

It doesn't matter how they started. They are to the left of Lenin, now. That's true. Any school that recieves public funding is way to the left. The education they give is of very low quality and as rule - demoralizing. The kids are inexperienced and take it for the real thing. The education funding should go through th parents, not the government. The government has a vested interest in keeping people dumb.
