I linked over to SYNTH and have no idea what the board is about. Can you provide a "Cliff Notes" Objectives statement?
What, exactly, is the SYNTH board intended to accomplish?

It is kinda a community, politics, a place to talk about creativity. It is basically a forum with categories that cover a lot. The main point of this forum is to see if a forum can survive without moderation, or if the users form a system of self moderation. But for this to happen I need a fair balance of ideas. Thats why I want some conservatives. Thank you for your time. |

See I want an even amount of conservatives and "Bush bashers". Right now, there is more "Bush bashers" than conservatives. Thats why I am here. I don't want unquestioned posts. I want an fair debate. I like intelligent debates. I would like some conservatives to balance out the leftness we have now at Synth. Please come. Please join. |

i've been posting on a board without a moderator for months. it is great except for when the little kiddies find out, sign up and start acting stupid. but they only come around every couple of months. for the most part people are adults and learn to settle the disputes themselves.

Yea, my board now a few admins, on account that I need to work on other stuff. The board went from having no admins to now anyone who wants to be a mod can be. Basic principle is still the same. Everyone can have the same power if they want.
