Isabel was a liberal!
Why do you say that, Mo? Because she devastated much of the country, made a lot of noise and left a lot of people in the dark.
I was without power for several days. It gave me renewed appreciation for hot showers, home cooked meals and the second amendment. It made me realize just how quickly civilization can turn uncivilized. I understand how fast our lives can turn into situations where we are extremely vulnerable, through no fault of our own.
Thoughts?

If liberals had there way in the 80's, you would not have experienced the storm. You would have died from the nuclear winter long ago. The Soviets would be counting the days until the US was again inhabitable.

so no power for 7 hrs made you happy you could have a gun? oh boy do i feel sorry for you! having a cold shower makes people uncivilized? did you go for a walk during the power outage? take a look up at the sky and realize what you're civilized country has done to the sky?
i suggest you watch "Bowling for Columbine" and hopefully this will open your eyes as to why you think "civilized" people can go rampant and uncivilized with some cold food, warm beer and cold water.

I suggest you rent Bowling for Columbine and use the tape to floss your toes, then return it.

I feel sorry for Canadians. Apparently, in addition to strict gun control, math tutors are hard to come by, too. No one around me went uncivilized. You missed my point. I suggest you quit watching propaganda and educate yourself. www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/gun-control

What on CNN has to do with Communism. You are proof that true communism has been distorted by other such as Lenins Boshlevekis. I'm tired of this horrible misrepresentation of communism.
