Politics and the Bible

My apologies, as I didn't read much past page one of this thread.

I just want to say, that I find it irritating when some folks choose to reply to a political thread, with a Bible verse/scripture, when 9 out of 10 times it's inappropriate as normally the topic started has not a 'thing' to do with the Bible.

If I wanted to discuss religion, I would post in a religious forum.

Just my thoughts.

While I agree that Bible quotes are often inappropriate, the name of the thread is "Politics and the Bible." If you don't want to discuss religion this probably isn't the thread for you.
