I will ignore your insults about me and my sons. You have no idea the price I and my family have paid in service to this country so keep your ignorant/arrogant/stupid comments to yourself.
Wars are supposed to be a last resort. Not to be rushed into, or lied about to the population. This one is about profit, pure and simple, and I grieve for all of our miliary personel who have died or been wounded because of this regime's lies. Sure military personel MUST follow orders, but when someone gets out of the military are they obligated to put their brains in neutral and blindly support the corrupt and illegal actions of a selfserving administration? In Nazi Germany yes, in America, no.

Oh, the price you've paid in service to this country. Yeah, right. You're no military man and that's gospel truth. You wouldn't let your kids step in harm's way no matter who was in office or what the cause happened to be, and you know it.

This war wasn't rushed into. Saddam had his chances to comply with UN inspectors for over ten years. I don't care what Koffi Annan says about our intervention. Bottom line is, nobody messes with America. We were here long before the UN. In fact, we founded the UN. Doesn't matter who's in office as president. Saddam was guilty of human rights abuses ad infinitum. As the powerbase of the world, we have the obligation to step up against tyranny, as we did in Kosovo, and in Rwanda. Sic semper tyrannus. Ever hear that motto? Of course not. But look inside any VMI ring and you'll see it.
The military fights, not negotiates. Some wars develop in months, some in weeks, some in days, but there's always that single hour when the shots start flying. And the ex-mil have the obligation to stand right alonside the active-mil in support of the President in time of war.
Take your whining to another discussion.

I will ignore personal insults this last time.
We all have the obligation to support our military personel, but we are under no obligation to support the corporate sponsored government that is using the military to gain profits. Just the opposite. It's our duty and obligation to expose this govt. for the selfserving, lying, war profiteers that they are.
I support the troops, I want to bring them home.

If anything's certain about this war, it's that we're not making monetary profits. Quite the contrary. American soldiers have been deployed around the world since WW1. All we have ever asked in return is enough land to bury our dead.

You may 'unquestionly' obey an order to be cannon fodder so a multi-national corporation can improve its profit shares, but my sons and I will never fight to make the rich richer, or to expand an empire, or fight in a crusade. We will never take orders from a proven liar and thief. If you want to believe that laying down your life for the good of the corporation is a good thing then go ahead. We'll fight for the defense of this country and democracy but not for someone who lied us into a war for profit. And who continues to lie just so his political donors will make huge profits. bushwatch.org/bushlies.htmI don't care if its an 's' or a 'z' the idea is the same. Go ahead, march lockstep into battle and win profits for your masters. Did Uncle Vinny get a new name to post with? Or maybe this Crash character is a cloned relative ;D

I agree this bozo has no military experience and I'm sure the price he and his family has paid was something other than a draped flag and a plot.

I read with pleasure three front-page stories in the Sac Bee (April 11) which restore my faith in humanity - that sanity reigns once more on Capitol Hill. 1. Senate moving to bring some troops home early next year. 2. Some Republican Senators calling for criminal Tom DeLay to resign. 3. Federal legislators considering rolling back some of Bush's tax cuts, as we face record budget deficits, mounting concerns for Social Security, and massive outlays for troops in Iraq and homeland security. Looks like there ARE some sane people in our government after all. :-) Looks like the insanit of Bush honeymoon is over!

Bush chose war early, memo says. Knight-Ridder Newspapers, May 6, 2005 A highly classified British memo, leaked during Britain’s just concluded election campaign, indicates the President Bush had decided to launch war on Iraq by Summer 2002 and was determined to ensure that U.S. intelligence data supported his policy. “There was a perceptible shift in attitude. Military action was now seen as inevitable,” the MI-6 chief said at the meeting, according to the memo. “Bush wanted to remove Saddam through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD,” or weapons of mass destruction. The memo said “the intelligence and the facts were being fixed around the policy.”
- - - Ohh, I sure don’t like the use of the word “fixed.”
Gives new meaning to the term “Bush lied, people died.”
Oh yeah, add $300 BILLION to the taxpayers too. Here’s the math – almost 300 million people in the US; $300 billion for the war. That’s $1,000 for every man, woman, and child in the US. How many people in your household? Four? Then you paid $4,000 for this war. Guess what, you just got reamed by this guy and his oil buddies!
