Unfortunately, there are still Democrats in positions of power. I can just imagine the screaming from the crybabies if the Republicans tried to cut funding for NPR.
Still democrats in positions of power? If only! Republicans aren't deterred from axing public broadcasting by the threat of screaming crybabies, they are deterred by the fact that a solid majority of people like the idea of public broadcasting and want to see it, particularly their local publc stations, continue. Democracy in action! Also, even though they are dim enough to be republicans they are smart enough to realize that it would be insane to try to institute some political-correctness test on public stations .
Conservatives aren't demanding that the tax payers pay for more conservative shows. Many just aren't watching the trite.

Broadcast news is to the left of Lenin.
LMAO! Why yes, how right you are. Just the other day I saw Dan Rather calling for the nationalization of all Harley Davidson dealerships and compulsory homosexual relationships for all middle-school boys!
That is why FNC is so successful.
Yes, FNC certainly has the spit-mouth reactionary demographic in the bag.
Noooo! You don't hate the country! You just can't state your case without taking a crack at the Constitution!
Now -there's- a cogent argument
