Here in the UK there has been lots of talk about the government possibly introducing compulsary identification for all UK citizens. The reason they cite for this being neccesary is to cut down on illegal immigration and benefit fraud.
Personally I am completley against compulsary ID cards and would burn mine in the street if ever I was given one. I will state my reasons in a later post but first of all I would like to hear what others think of the idea.
