This is starting to bother me so I’m asking other thoughts/opinions.
In 2016 Trump lost the Iowa caucus to Cruz, immediately called it rigged, stolen, and demanded a rematch.
Also 2016, prior to the election, Trump stated that if Clinton won it was only because the election was rigged.
After he won the electoral college, but lost the popular vote, he said the election was rigged and that millions of illegal immigrants and/or dead people voted.
In 2020, he lost the election and again/still, Trump says the election was rigged/stolen.
Now, Trump is running for president again and talks about all of these things he’s going to do to make sure the election is safe and secure.
My question- Why didn’t Trump do anything in the 4 years he was president to make sure elections were safe and secure by his standards?
I know I’m in the minority of republicans that believe our elections, although may have flaws, the right person with the most votes is the one who wins. That said, I’m hoping for a real discussion.
